"The private beach is a plus. Gets packed for a few hours when the folks from cruises come. By 2pm everyone leaves and you have the beach back all to yourself. The food was great and the staff were very attentive"

The on-site restaurant offers traditional Honduran dishes all prepared to order and so delicious! Then you walk through the blue door and to the dock ON THE WATER to watch the most beautiful sunset. We've done a lot of traveling and vacationing and this vacation was absolutely unmatched. Ditch the busy, noisy, crowded resort style stay and experience a stay at Puerta Azul instead."

"If you’re looking for a tranquil and relaxing experience, away from tourists attractions, Las Verandas is the place. The grounds are well kept and the ocean views are spectacular. The restaurant on site and the poolside bar were amazing. Waitstaff very pleasant and attentive. The beach was very rocky therefore not conducive to swimming but the 2 infinity pools made up for that. We will definitely be returning for another week’s stay."

"What a great place to stay and a perfect place off the beaten path! All the staff were friendly and communication was top-notch with WhatsApp group messages every day full of recommendations, history and overall tips. They were also very responsive to all our questions. Food on site was always tasty and there was lots to do, from paddling, to games (ping pong, darts, corn hole), nightly/daily events (bingo, live music, bonfire, local market), DIVING (dive shop on site was outstanding) and easy to walk to a few other spots or drive/get a ride to West End. We loved sitting out on our balcony every day with coffee. Wifi was super fast and reliable."
