Absolutely spectacular setting and very comfortable cottage room with deck overlooking Lich Fyne. Restaurant was warm and cozy with good food and popular with locals as well.
Really lovely place right on Loch Fyne. A lovely walk you can do, off road, that takes you round to the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar.
Lovely evening meal and breakfast
Really friendly staff
Gave a four not a five as no hot water from the bathroom sink tap but shower was lovely and hot
An absolute gem of a pub and experience from start to finish was the best we had in Scotland for sure.
Property has a lot of history and it was exactly what I had pictured in my mind of a country Scottish inn.
Fynes Ales a short drive away and was also brilliant.
Best dinner we had in Scotland as well and you could tell all the staff care a lot about their inn and the people who visit.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
We have stayed at this property on two previous occasions & returned due to previous positive experiences. This time we were quite disappointed with the quality & cost of our dinner - but the breakfast was lovely.
Clean and tidy, cute and loved the heritage of the property. Stunning surrounds. No food options close by (at least 15 minutes away) but the in house restaurant was excellent. Food was delicious! Breakfast was also great. Beds were comfortable.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Room was at the rear with poor outlook, also could do with updating.
Food was exceptional, as was the service from very friendly staff. Hotel was in a good position by the loch, with good garden area. Apart from this room, an excellent stay.
Our fourth stay at this beautifully located Inn and we plan to stay again early next year. We stayed in one of the rooms with an outside balcony with wonderful views ove the loch.
The room was very comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was to a high standard and the dinner menu very good (the venison is recommended)
The bar has a good selection of whisky and is a good place to have a laugh with the locals
A lucky find in a peaceful and secluded location.
Friendly bar staff, well cooked and presented food with regional specialities. Spacious room recently refurbished
but the mattress was rather uncomfortable. Excellent en-suite with a high standard of cleanliness.

Loved it. Very convenient to inverary and beautiful views of the Loch, boat cruises and great meals. Had some reservations at first with dust, etc but fell in love with adorable space and, particularly food in no time. Recommend it!
We loved the location and that it was on the lake with beautiful views of the mountains! The staff were super friendly and accommodating. They have parking on premises which was a huge factor for my selection. It is only about a 15 minute ride from downtown Inverraray. The food at their restaurant was excellent as well. The room rate also included breakfast. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay. The only issue I had was the door to our room was a little difficult to open at first but the fellow at the front desk came over to help me out and we were good after that.

Gorgeous location on Loch Fyne with spectacular views. Individual units in detached building have wonderful balcony decks overlooking Loch Fyne. Some electricals need repair/maintenance. Menu is adequate... more carnivore than herbivore. A pleasant stay... large beds in detached building units, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Need a "room guide" to explain functioning of heating, etc. to non-UK residents. Only 20 minutes to Inverary Castle. Evening meal pptions aside from hotel are non-existant.
VERY large room! We had room 15 with a balcony and 2 twin beds. The bathroom was big, has heated floors and a heated towel rack, and good water pressure in the shower. In the closet, there was also spare bedding and a disabled seat for the shower. The beds weren't my favorite, but they did the job. Nice cookies with the coffee pot. It feels like a little apartment. Reception staff was very friendly and helpful. We had dinner there, and the haggis was tasty - very meaty, light on the oats.
Definitely recommend this hotel.
