"We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, and found it was a great place to explore the Picos de Europa and surrounding area. October was a great time to come, warm but not too hot to walk in the mountains. The apartment was warm and cosy. there was five of us, which it slept comfortably, but there could have been more comfy seating for all of us for the evenings. "Estancia muy agradable, cerca del pueblo y de playas o lugares donde hacer excursiones o pasar el dia. El personal muy agradable y dispuesto siempre a ayudar y responder cuando necesitamos algo. "Het appartement was op de 1e verdieping. De inrichting is verouderd, maar wel knus. De locatie, het uitzicht vanuit de woonkamer en de rust is fantastisch. De dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is een half uur met de auto. Slecht internet ontvangst en ook regelmatig geen telefonisch bereik. Dat laatste kan ook een voordeel zijn."

"This apartment was just right for the two of us (though there is room for more). We loved the covered patio overlooking the neighborhood and hills where we could sit and enjoy our meals. The bed was very comfortable and the host Sibille was so friendly and very accommodating. She has supplied the place with everything you need and more. There’s also an awesome friendly dog who will go on walks with you."

"Nice house in quiet mountain village. Close to Sotres and Cares which can be reached by car, local bus, or walking. Host was helpful in providing local information. There is no Wi-Fi in the house, but we were able to join our hosts network, sitting on the bench outside their house a short walk away."

Excellent hotel with tranquil setting
"Stopped for two nights with my husband on a motorbike trip to the Picos. We loved staying here. We had a beautiful balcony view looking out on to farm land and mountains and could hear the birds singing. So tranquil. Loved all the geranium window boxes. So pretty. Staff were very friendly and we got by with speaking English and a little Spanish! The accommodation was very clean and the beds very comfortable. We could have parked the bike in the garage as pre arranged but felt it was safe to leave the bike at the front of the hotel. Breakfast was delicious, not a cooked breakfast , apart from fried eggs and pancakes on one day but plenty of choice and delicious. The restaurant for an evening meal was in a separate building up a hill on the other side of the road. It was only open 1 of the two nights we were there but the quality of the food was excellent and generous portions. The hotel was a perfect position for exploring the Picos and we preferred the more tranquil spot rather than stopping in Potes. Found it a bit tricky to find the entrance to the hotel at first. Think cars had to park on roadside but we could park the bikes in front of the property which was excellent. Wish we'd booked another night. Would I stay again...Yes, definitely. Sad to leave ."
