"The ptoperty is in a beautiful setting, also lovely and warm. We did not expect to have to ask about linrn, which may no udually be supplied, but coming from far away one certainly doesn't do so with linen.. The wifi in the house is goid, but Internet connectivity is reall flakey and slow. This is soen to the communications company, nor the owner. "Just be ready" to not depend on "

"Thank you to Patrick and Liz for being such wonderful hosts. Their knowledge of the area and help when required was brilliant. Loved the walking guides and maps in the house. The house was very spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed. The outside space was a delight. The area was beautiful, plenty to see and do. A great stay."

"La maison était sale , nous avons dû laver tous les sols et surfaces et enlever les tapis , tout est vieux voire cassé. Pas de draps ni serviettes fournis, la literie passable, les canapés inconfortables et recouverts de housses pour cacher la misère .Seuls deux feux sur quatre fonctionnaient à peu près."

"This old stone cottage in a small village is a gem; comfortable, well furnished, and in a beautiful area. Local information from Marc and a greeting and orientation from Alain were both excellent. We ventured in a different direction each day and particularly enjoyed Mirepoix and its restaurants and Monday market. Special thanks to Alain."

"La maison a de beaux volumes, très bien située dans un petit village au calme. Belle piscine bien entretenue. Mais il n’y a qu’un petit drap de bain prévu par personne pour tout votre séjour ( nous sommes restés 2 semaines.) Ce n’est vraiment pas assez, comment on fait avec la piscine et la douche ? Pas de coussin de chaises le long de la piscine, comment on fait avec ces petites serviettes pour ne pas se brûler contre le plastique des chaises? Il y a un éclairage au pourtour et dans la piscine...

"Having really enjoyed a week's stay last year, it was great to extend that to a fortnight in 2023. Superbly appointed property with a terrace that commands one of the best views in France. Perfect again in every way and I hope to return again in 2024. Ayant vraiment apprécié le séjour d'une semaine l'année dernière, c'était formidable de prolonger cela à quinze jours en 2023. "From booking to arriving, the owners were super helpful, giving us loads of information before we arrived, and answering all of our questions. The property itself was perfect for us, we were 5 in total, ages ranging from 75 to 13! Plenty of space both indoors and out and everything we could think of was provided! The local shop was a real gem as well and literally around the corner. Would absolutely recommend this property"

"Een ruim huis, goed uitgeruste keuken. Grote terras met zwembad heeft een prachtig wijds uitzicht. Kinderen vermaken zich hier prima met tafeltennistafel, voetbaltafel en zwembad. Ook is er een kast vol spelletjes. In de omgeving is zeer veel te bezichtigen en te doen. Vanuit het huis kun je heerlijk wandelen en fietsen. Eigenaren zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam, weten veel over de omgeving te vertellen. Mooi plekje waar je helemaal tot rust komt!"

"We travelled with 3 children, 5, 9 and 12 and their reaction to the house was " its the most beautiful house we have been in" Very comfortable for adults too. Enjoyed the garden and the deck very much too. A little bit expensive but we did have a good time and found the house very comfortable for 7 of us."

"Bon gîte à prix raisonnable.Accès routier un peu difficile car très petite rue en pente. Attention à ne pas se fier entièrement à Google qui nous a fait prendre un sens unique à l'envers. "La casa de dos plantas muy comoda y muy bien cuidada y equipada, situada en tres min del centro. Tienes sitio para aparcar enfrente de la entrada.. La calle privada para 4 casas sin circulacion de coches. No tiene ni patio ni balcon. Anfitrion es la persona amable, responsable y te da solucion a lo que necesitas ensiguida. Muy buena estancia. "Not a great experience. They never replied to my emails asking about facilities. Confirmation and T&C's only sent to me on day of arrival. It only took 5 hours for someone to give us a key to get in. Oh and don't forget to take your own cups and glasses to make up for what's missing. It's a great shame as if some effort was made it would be a great base for a cheap getaway. "
