"Still bizarre for such quality place: 1- chemicals to kill bugs directly at room entries with many bugs on the ground dead in the mirning. 2 - Grass mowing 24/7 and 3 - Grass sprinkling all night in rural area, what happen to ground water in a very dry area. All saying ecology is not their forte!!!"
"Incredible experience to stay in such an old but yet well maintained building. Our room was huge and well thought out with amazing views. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome. Restaurant food was delicious and breakfast top class.
First class service...Extremely comfortably...Historic building...Breathtaking views.
Loved our stay, Thank you!"
"Reception folks were great, friendly, helpful, room was great. Location was very close to where we were doing business so that worked well.
I would say the only downside really was the restaurant. We had a 4.5 h drive from Milan and arrived just before 9pm, last entry was 9:30 so we got there about 9:20, it just all felt a bit rushed and obviously kicking out time soon. The food was ok.
Breakfast was the worst, there was virtually no choice, was really disappointing and i had 1 egg and 1 slice of bacon just to eat something, business partner had nothing as the choice was so poor.
Overall - I would stay here again but probably would plan to have breakfast elsewhere and get to the restaurant sooner in the evening or eat out. "
"Key location in the heart of Gubbio. Lovely room with stunning view. Hotel staff were excellent super kind and willing to help in case of need or questions. Definitely a great choice."
"Check in was a nightmare - nobody there to receive us. Instead, we had to key in all our information outside the hotel which was not user friendly. We had to reenter information several times before we could get it to work properly, and also scan our passports etc. I called the number but did not reach anyone to answer our questions about how to solve the glitchy keypad entry issues. We were lucky that someone who works there happened to come by and helped us retrieve our key from a locked box that was different than all the other key boxes and she didn't know how to open it. She called someone and someone answered, and she got help. The room was fine, had a nice view, so were satisfied with our stay once we finally were able to check in. HOWEVER, now upon reviewing my credit card statement, I was charged TWICE for the stay! Please arrange a refund, and perhaps you should even consider refunding part of the cost of staying there due to this and the other problems I outlined! "
