Glanrafon Isaf is a fabulous converted barn and adjacent annexe that adjoins the River Gwyrfai, with full access for fishing and walking along the river bank. The open-aspect kitchen, dining and living area is ideal for family get-togethers and parties. The large decking area outside is ideal for barbecues and al fresco dining.

This holiday home lies close to the town of Caernarfon and there is much to see in the area, including mighty Caernarfon Castle, the Galeri Arts Centre or take a trip on a steam train on the Welsh Highland Railway to Beddgelert. Children will also love Caernarfon’s Fun Centre (Yr Hwylfan), and Gypsy Wood Park in nearby Bontnewydd. It is also just a short journey to the Isle of Anglesey with its spectacular 125 miles of coastline and fascinating places to visit such as Beaumaris with its Edward I castle, Red Wharf Bay and the beautiful and leafy Newborough Forest. In the other direction is Snowdon which, at 3,560ft, is the highest mountain in Wales. A more relaxing way than climbing to the top is to take the train to the visitor centre at the summit - on a clear day the views are spectacular! The Victorian town of Llandudno, Llanberis and picturesque Betws-y-Coed are all within easy reach.

Lovely large bungalow and annexe, great space for a multi generational family break. Would benefit from some TLC along with new beds, bedding and sofas. If you have a large car beware of the narrow access to the property.

Fabulous accommodation for a large family-group - with the added bonus of a separate cottage for two. Clean, comfortable, spacious - a real home from home. Very well-equipped and suitable for all age-groups; particularly good for young children - very safe and secluded with lots of outdoor space. Superb setting - very close to Llanberis with stunning views of Snowdon while also being close to Dinas Dinlle beach. Great location to get around northwales and over to Anglesea. Nice spacious communal areas. Bbq available. And no one around you even though you can get to supermarkets in 5 minutes. Glanrafon Isaf is a lovely barn conversion set in a rural location whilst still close to Caernarfon . Well equipped, I cooked Christmas dinner for 10 and found everything I needed. A couple of minor issues. The heating was off when we arrived and ,being a barn, took a long time to warm through. Also no welcome pack with instructions re: bins, heating, local amenities etc which is essential. Great to have wine waiting for us on arrival. Overall a spacious property for a large group over the Christmas period.

Perfect holiday home for three generations.

Perfect holiday home for three generations. 5 min drive from civilisation with a garden including swings, which meant the grand children could run around and make noise safely and with no concerns for their safety. 5 minutes drive from a large supermarket and a few minutes more to central Caernarfon. Easy access with a car to everywhere . House is huge and has everything one needs, including washing machine and tumble drier

What an amazing weekend.

What an amazing weekend. it was booked as a Christmas present for us and our four children and their partners and it was a great success. they all enjoyed it so much that they have asked if we can book and do it all again next year. unfortunately we had bad weather but the log fire was most welcome. i can imagine in the Summer the patio would be a great sun trap and place for some lazy BBQ. thank you so much Glanrafon Isaf for a perfect stay we wil be back!!.
