"Yr Hen Farcdy is wonderful accommodation in a beautiful setting, close to Snowdonia and all the special areas of north Wales. The rooms are comfortable, attractive and private, and the hosts Mike and Sue could not be more hepful. The breakfasts are delicious with a great range of options. We loved our 6 nights there and highly recommend it as a base fir exploring the region, or a spot for just chilling out."

"An amazing YHA at the foot of the Miners Track to Snowdon! Loved this location nestled at the pass of the Welsh Mountains! Everyone was super friendly and accommodating, the food was delish and so easy to get over to Snowdon! Remember to buy your parking ticket in advance. "Staff were excellent and made such a fuss of my mum on her birthday . The only ( and this is not huge) strange thing was that the bar closed at 9.30pm which was rather odd, but this did not deter from a fabulous stay , we will be back "
