For our purpose of a family reunion at a central location, it was perfect. We had a great time together as a family, and the home was comfortable, clean, and enjoyable.
We were at Land between the Lakes for a family reunion. It was at the Energy Lake campground. This was a good location, close to the campground. The place was clean, and there was plenty of room for our 6 adults and 4 children.
We enjoyed seeing lake Barkley and the land between the lakes planetarium, nature center, and the elk and bison prairie. We tried Jim’s seafood by the lake Barkley state marina and it was delicious. We also rented a boat to cruise the lake. We also tried the Tap house in between the lakes in grand river Kentucky and the food was awesome. We really enjoyed driving around and seeing the birds, deer and buffalo. We had a great time and the house we stayed in was very nice and close to the activities we wanted to do. Thank you.
Renting the property was easy I really wanted to be close enough to fish husband wasn't happy with that there was water across the street from property but you couldn't access it it's on other people's property so you have to drive to find a place to fish
Overall it was a nice place i was a little dissatisfied with the overall cleanliness of house. Spider webs in corners and things like that. But I will say we had an issue with one of the beds and Mike took care of it immediately. Only other is is driveway was to small to park my pontoon in.
It is a trailer, but a reasonably nice one. Plenty of space. The listing & pictures aren’t fully accurate regarding the beds, but there was plenty of space forour family. The dining area was a nice bonus. I did try to contact the owner to ask if there was an ice machine, but got no answer… there is not, but were a couple of ice trays for freezing. The water was notably good, which isn’t always the case in that area. The signage to not put anything down the drains, including toilet paper was concerning, but only real complaint that we had was the a/c … there is a nest thermostat & we’re pretty sure that whomever had remote control of it was turning it off completely during the day when we were out & on two nights (it was in excess of 80 degrees several times when we returned to the house & got very hot during two nights & each time we had to turn the a/c back on) - we were keeping the temp within the range required in the house binder, so it was frustrating to be so hot repeatedly.
Just like presented in the photos. We booked it because it looked kid friendly. Nice back deck & yard. Nice friendly neighbors with plenty of wildlife roaming the area. Worked for us.
Was looking for a good escape. House was very well stocked, even had coffee and snacks available. Home is showing some age in carpets and bathroom mirrors.

Would have gave a five star
The house was very nice however the street light in front of the house shines in the bedroom windows so didn't get much sleep. The house has dead bugs all on the front of it due to the light. The back door in the laundry room should have a shade to block out the sun.My husband did fix the shades on the sliding glass door.
Our stay was so relaxing. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. I appreciate the items present that helped us get our stay started. I love all the space!!! It would be an awesome place for a ladies get away trip. Hopefully, my family will be back next summer.
It was a fun and relaxing 5 days. I wish I could have stayed longer vacations always seem to be to short. No matter how short the time was though we were re-engized for the regular hum drum of life.
