Margaritaville Beach Resort Playa Flamingo

"The hotel was very pretty and we had a warm welcome. Our room had two double beds and a fold out chair. The double beds are just way too small for two people to sleep in comfortably. The shower is open and soaked the whole bathroom every time you used it and it didn’t drain well so everything was wet the whole time. The pool was big and there was plenty of space for people to be at the bar, playing volleyball and to play and tan on the ledges. Unfortunately a storm was blowing through during our stay so the red flag was up at the beach the whole time and the waves were big and powerful and quite intimidating. The breakfast was included and had so many options including the traditional gallon pinto, eggs and several meat options plus pastries and fruit, yogurt and out meal and a separate but included omelette bar. We got bar food service at the pool and the mango ceviche was delicious. The hotel is an easy walk to restaurants and nearby shops. There is a great game room with a small lending library and a movie theatre. We didn’t know that there were bicycles on property until we were leaving and saw some guests riding. It would be really fun because there is a flat path along the beach to ride. We definitely would have taken a ride if we knew. Next time for sure. Staff was helpful and kind. We booked this thinking it would be fun for our teens and they were really happy with the amenities, they played pool and pickleball."

"Relaxing and enjoyable place with fantastic staff. The management are fantastic and whilst we visited there was a storm which they checked in and we're always responsive to needs. The pool area is lovely and relaxed. The one disappointment was the room did have a few issues with loose doors, drawers and a toilet flush that was always hissing. And right now there was lots of construction directly outside our room. However it's a charming little place."

"I was solo traveling and I felt so safe and attended to. The rooms were spacious and clean. The hotel was gorgeous with so many flowers and plants. The food and drinks were outstanding. The staff was unbelievably kind, I highly recommend!"

"The property was beautiful. You def. need golf carts to get around. The housekeeper Yesenia made the property exceptional. She was very nice and did a great job with keeping the house clean, the laundry and address issues we had with the A/C. We had an issue with 2 rooms - the air conditioners were not working for 2N but they were replaced with new ones by the 3rd night. We mostly used the golf carts to go to the beach, the steps were a lot, but the view from the pool was amazing."
