"We stayed for two weeks at the end of September. We expected mixed weather and that is what we had. The first week was cloudy but warm which gave us a chance to explore local cities like Braga and Guimaraes. The second week we had glorious sunshine and made the most of the swimming pool. The house has a lot of character with living accommodation over two floors with a spiral staircase, and the outside terrace or balcony was a lovely place to sit and watch the sunset. Loved watching the Peacock strut about. The house is huge and comfortably accommodated 14 of us. There are lots of different communal spaces to eat and socialise.
