"It’s like having your own resort to yourself . Well worth the money . Ever lasting memories . You will not be disappointed . So peaceful . They cook for you they clean for you and they are wonderful people . We also would leave a tip for the workers and they were so appreciative . "

"This stay was lovely, with aircon in all rooms, and short drive to nice beaches. There are a few things however that the description lied about. The villa is a 15 minute drive to Alona beach, not a 10 minute walk. The only beach within walking distance is the docking area for boats, and is dirty in general. Also, they charge 300pesos per 12 hours of use for the washing machine, so keep in mind that it is not included. For the cost of the house however our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable....

"Their listing needs clarity. The property is by the water and has a beautiful front lawn. However, the property does not have a parking space for your vehicle(s). You will have to park your vehicle (if you own one) outside the gate right by the highway on the sloping shoulder of the road. The listing gives the impression that you'll be renting the whole place, but in reality you'll be renting only one house. You don't have the whole place to your self. (The owner(s) need to clarify this in their listing.) The house we rented has three bedrooms all of which have airconditioning and fans. However, the living room does not have any airconditioning system so it does get hot and humid in the living room even if you open the glass doors and leave the screen doors closed. It mentions an oven, but there is no oven in the house (only a table top gas stove). It mentions a washing machine, but there is no washing machine in the house. There is a pool and a hut/cabana in front of the pool, but when the owners are already seated there you'll feel awkward invading their space (you'll have to be extremely social or thick-skinned to be invade somebody's space). My brother and nephew and niece only got to use the pool once and at night when the owners were back inside their house. We booked this place and not a hotel because we wanted privacy and flexibility for this specific trip with my family...and we didn't get that. "

"Very enjoyable stay. I was greeted every time walking up to the front desk. Amazing hospitality at the resort. Monkey and duck feeding was very fun. The resort has a great restaurant on site serving a lot of options including Vegan options. They offer ride service to multiple attractions near by including Zipline, Dinner buffet boat ride, chocolate hills observation deck, chocolate hills, tarsier sanctuary and more. I will definitely visit again this place checked every box for a fun vacation or just a quick getaway. Thanks Loboc river resort and staff it was amazing to stay with everyone. "

"We loved this place, staff were kind friendly and helpful. They set up airport transportation, tuk Tuks to go places, helped with organizing tours. You can walk to river side lunch cruise area. It was clean and had a great restaurant. We enjoyed our 2 nights there! "

"Picture do not do this house and property justice. We are from the San Diego California/ La Jolla/Del Mar area and are familiar with high end houses - the “Sunrise House/ Silangan Bilay” is world class and could be placed in any of the finest cities in the world and fit in. Combine that with the caretaker Laarni and the staff that she maintains to care for guests and you are guaranteed a magical and unforgettable experience. This property sits high above the historic river valley of Loboc and Loay on the island Bohol in the Philippines on a prominent ridge that captures the sunrise every morning in stunning splendor. Visible in the distance on the other side of the valley on a promontory are a Cross that is illuminated at night and a shrine to Our Lady of Guadalupe of Extramadura. Both appear to watch over the valley and the house.This house is a one of a kind custom built house in a one of a kind location with a one of a kind caretaker and staff.I cannot recommend Silangan Bilay/ Sunrise House more highly."
