"Personal was very polite, although be aware that if you have a late check-in you should let them know in advance. The hotel is located in a wonderful place in Kvaløya. It is very close to Tromso and just 15 min away from the airport with the bus. From the hotel you can reach the beautiful Ersfjord in 13 min with the bus as well. "The hotel is super well located and from there it’s super easy to follow some hiking trails around the island. The views are absolutely amazing and even the way from tromso to Sommarøy it’s super enjoyable. The sauna is big and you can enjoy getting into the water to refresh and experience the artic temperatures 😉. The breakfast buffet was great, although I would have appreciated more variety for the lunch/dinner menu. We had luck and experience the aurora both nights we stayed in Sommarøy."
