Disliked: Communication
Pros: private patio, good storage space, good location, pool, playground, games. Good for families.
Cons: need to bring your own bedding, including your own pillows(the ones they provide were dirty and stained), towels, and dish soap. Not as clean as it should have been for the high cleaning fee. No laundry facility but there's a clothes hanger outside.
Expect zero communication with the property manager after paying the additional 'Nebenkosten' charge . For us it was more than half of what we had initially paid for 4 nights. This was also the first time I booked a FEWO and not a hotel room, therefore, I wasn't expecting to received a payment request from the host before check-in. It also took a few tries to get a receipt for the second payment.
There was also no hairdryer in the apartment as stated. After looking in every nook and cranny in the entire apartment for a nonexistent hairdryer, and not receiving any response from the property manager, we contacted the owner and were just told that the previous guests must have misplaced it. I already had to go buy bedding and sheet covers from IKEA and didn't want to drive again to purchase a hair dryer too. After check out, we got a thank you message from the host for leaving the place 'tip top' and that they "found" the hair dryer.
If you stay only a short time, have kids, bring a few must have items with you, and don't mind to re-clean the place, then you should have a pleasant stay.
