"Had a great time here! Our laundry was washed, ironed and neatly folded for us and brought back to our room at an affordable rate. Shower water was hot during our whole stay and we had AC in our room- just request for it at the reception. Breakfast was decent. Only downside was final payments while checking out. Their card reader doesn’t accept more than ksh 2,000 so be prepared to have either cash or mpesa, it really inconvenienced me. Other than that, service was great!"

"We were in Kakamega for work and during the weekend we moved to Rondo. This is a lovely and peaceful place, with an enchanting park were it is possible to see monkeys and listen to the songs of a variety of birds. We appreciated a lot the meals (I've asked for vegetarian meals and they was excellent) and the tea with a delicious piece of cake in the afternoons, taken directly to our small but beautiful cottage, despite the rain."

"I’ve stayed at Sheywe at least ten times with teams I have brought with me. But will not be going back. This last time proved to be the final straw. Toilets that were dirty and did not flush, cold water showers, food (chicken)!that was undercooked, making a team member sick. I love the staff and am friends with them, but I cannot risk our health. "
