"We had a nice stay for one night and breakfast was nice. Our hostess was very good. The only problem was the area nothing open to get a meal. Very quiet area with not much to do, okay just for overnight. Make sure you have food with you if arriving in the evening especially September."

"Have stayed in Villalba at least four times in the past 7 years and always choose Hotel Galatco as my residence. Clean, quiet, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet, excellent cleaning and front desk service; what more could a person ask for?"

"I do not think I have ever had such awful and rude service in my life! Check-in ends SUPER early (8:30 pm) such a very inconvenience if you are coming from the Madrid train station very late at night. Apart from being more than 1 hour away from what it feels civilization is, rides can be costly (almost 100€). Very hard to get around this little town because it feels isolated from other places. If you are looking just to get away in the mountains in a peaceful, quiet place I would recommend it....
