Amazing Location

Absolutely loved having my birthday celebration here with several friends and my partner. Plenty of space for everyone, with large communal areas that were spacious enough yet still made you feel right at home. I'd love to return in the future when the weather gets warm and see all of what the property has to offer!

Everything was as advertised! The house was beautiful and had great amenities. The only thing I would add is maybe more than 2 pillows for the queen sized beds. Definitely recommend for large groups of people!

The highlights of this property was the location close to Shawnee! The large Dining Room was awesome for dinners and game night! LOVE a fireplace in doors, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms! The babbling brook outside was a favorite of everyone!! Highly recommend!

Friendsgiving Trip in the Poconos

This house was perfect for our 7th annual Friendsgiving tradition! We had 13 people in attendance and the house perfectly suited our needs. The long table with 18+ seating capacity was a huge selling point! We had a great time and were able to utilize the outdoor fire pit area as well. Great stay and would come back again!

Perfect Getaway

We had a family gathering and it was the perfect house to be in. Plenty of space for folks to spread out, most of the house was even better than the pictures. The dining room was HUGE, the picnic tables under a covered awning on the top deck were a great way to enjoy the scenery, and the hot tub was a huge hit. Would happily stay again. :)

Great space for large group

We had a group of 15 young adults and adults. The property was perfect as it allowed everyone to spread out and have space. We opened all the dining room windows and listened to the stream rolling over the rocks. Very tranquil and beautiful location. Highly recommend!

Great for a group getaway!

We rented the home for a friend trip for my birthday. We had 14 adults and 3 kids (from a baby through to 5 year old), and it worked out really great! The huge dining table was a big draw because we could all eat together, which is rare for a group this size. The view down to the creek was lovely, and the hot tub was clean and well-kept. Overall a great location for a family or friend reunion!

Great home for mulit-generation vacation!

We rented this property for an annual family trip. The layout of the house was perfect and felt spacious, even with 18 people in the house! We loved that there was enough space for all of us to gather around the dining room table and the teenagers had a blast in the game room. The creek in the backyard is a beautiful backdrop and we enjoyed morning coffee and evening fires outside. The house was clean and the owner was professional and easy to communicate with.

Beautiful Stream and Forest Retreat

We loved this spacious house in the woods. The stream access and fire pit area surrounded by benches made for peaceful slow mornings with coffee and s'mores and sing-alongs by the campfire in the evenings. We loved having the long dining room table that allowed all 14 of us to sit together for dinner, and we sat on the picnic tables on the covered deck for various meals. The young adults enjoyed the game room and hot tub. And we enjoyed exploring the Saw Creek pools.

Poconos December 2024

Overall a really nice property. Plenty of room for the amount of people we had and the rooms were pretty spacious and the game room was fun. The river behind the property is beautiful and so relaxing to listen to. Just a few negatives, the ice machine in the freezer did not work and there is a severe shortage in towels. The check in process to enter into the development needs some work as the lines were really long at check in and when we came back from being off property. We all had fun and would definitely go back.

So I will start with saying this place was spotless, the man in charge was absolutely phenomenal when getting back to me to add people onto the list for the community. It was way bigger and stunning in person, all my wedding guests were in love! Wonderful Week by the Creek!

What a fabulous house for a family gathering! Eleven of us spent a week here and it was glorious! The kids waded in the creek, exploring its crevices and skipping stones. We had a s’mores party around the fire pit one beautiful evening. The young kids (ages 5-10) claimed the basement for themselves to play pool, ping-pong, and video games. The kitchen is well-stocked with equipment; we ate in every meal for a week except for dinner one night at a remarkable local restaurant, Sue’s Thai Cuisine & Noodle Bar. Wonderful amenities are available within the community, including three pools and pond with a beach. There are a number of good attractions in the area for kids. The property owner was easy to reach and quite helpful. It could not have been a better week!

Family vacation in Bushkill, PA

Our family had a great time in Bushkill. The rental house was in a nice neighborhood, quiet and relaxing, especially listening to the stream all day! The kids had a blast spending time in the stream on several days. The house was also close to many hiking trails and waterfalls which is where our family spent lots of time. And since we were so close to New York, we drove to Liberty State Park in New Jersey and took the ferry to see the Statue of Liberty! The grandkids were all excited to see the New York City skyline as well as the Statue of Liberty! It was a good day trip. It’s always a great time for all the cousins to get together once a year! (One family came from Virginia and the other families came from Illinois)
