"They placed me in a room that reeked of mold and mosquito chemicals. When I requested a different room, the staff sprayed deodorant in the one next to mine—I could hear it clearly. When I asked about it, she confirmed it. That response was both unprofessional and unacceptable. I left the property within minutes, wheezing and with a pounding headache."

"L’attention à chaque détail, tant dans l’accueil, la décoration, les services et activités, la nourriture, est exceptionnelle, rarement vu un niveau pareil ! L’hôtel est niché au milieu d’une splendide plantation de thé, juste en lisière de la jungle. Tout est beau, et encore, nous étions au début de la saison des pluies donc avec quelques orages… mais la magie a opéré avec la visites de dizaines de singes, d’oiseaux multicolores… Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce séjour inoubliable ! Mikael"

Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Bushenge?
The best time to visit Bushenge is during the dry seasons, which run from June to September and mid-December to mid-February.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall, making it ideal for outdoor activities and exploring the natural beauty of the Western Province. The roads, particularly those leading to more remote areas, are generally in better condition, ensuring smoother travel. For those looking to enjoy the stunning landscapes and participate in activities like hiking or visiting tea plantations, the dry season offers the most comfortable and predictable weather.

Couples looking for a romantic and comfortable trip will find these periods particularly appealing. The clear skies and pleasant temperatures create great conditions for scenic drives, relaxed strolls through tea estates, and enjoying the serene environment without the interruption of heavy downpours. It allows for a more spontaneous and enjoyable exploration of the region's attractions.

While the wet seasons (March to May and October to mid-December) bring lush greenery, they can also mean more challenging travel conditions and a higher chance of activities being disrupted by rain.
