"On arrival we was greeted with a strong smell of damp. There was a lot of spiders and dead and live wood lice all around the house. The live were taken outside and the dead were sucked up the very doggy smelling vacuum cleaner.
The sofa smelt of dogs and the sink had stuck on food remnants and dead wood lice.
The only good points were: the bed was comfy and the nice touch of a bottle of Prosecco.
Would we recommend and stay again? Unfortunately no."
"Fabulous B&B…traditional pub with great rooms with modern showers. Dinner used local ingredients and was very tasty and generous portion size.
Breakfast had nice thick bacon, local sausage and all the usual black pudding, mushroom, tomato, beans and hash browns.
Would thoroughly recommend"

Very nice breakfast here full English very tasty and cooked to perfection well worth a stay at the Washington. Old school brewery just behind and the start of the Warton crag walk giving great...
"The whole experience at the hotel was fantastic. The food was good, room was clean , the bed was comfy, the area is quiet and the staff were excellent. Ideal stop off for travelling from North to South."
