Hotel staff are great. The place is clean and decor is nice.
I’ve given it 4 stars because I felt the breakfast was good but a little basic with not enough hot vegetarian options, and the location was a bit farther out so, longer walks, longer bus journeys or more taxis. Taxis are not cheap.
It was expensive at the bar and cafe…but I don’t think it would be any different elsewhere in the city.
Not sure I’d go back to this hotel, but I would check out one of their other hotels in the city.

I live in Reykjavík. This is a great hotel to go to be away from the kids. We love the restaurant at the hotel. Geat food and service.
