Wonderful thermal waters, friendly staff, too hot!

The two big pluses at Çelik Palas are the amazing thermal facilities (some of the best in Türkiye) and the friendly staff we encountered throughout our three-day stay. The main challenge for us is that the room was simply too hot/stuffy - even though it's still warm in mid October, the central air conditioning had been turned off. We opened the balcony door but the road noise is very loud, so it was difficult to reach a comfortable temperature to relax...which is a shame, because the hotel has many excellent features and deserves to be busy - but the room temperature has to be suitable to the unique tastes of every guest.

Amazing hotel

This is truly a great hotel. The room was huge and very comfortable. The only let down was the wi-fi as the signal was extremely weak. The view from the room was excellent and at night was even better.

Amazing views 5 star service

The hotel is in a great location with amazing views of Bursa city. The staff were exceptionally helpful and professional. The hotel itself is well maintained and spotless. Our suite was clean, spacious, and nicely furnished. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the suite included two bathrooms and a private sitting area with balconies. Room service was quick and efficient. Overall, it was very reasonably priced and offered a true 5-star experience.

Perfect stay for business or pleasure

Stayed for 1 night to visit the local area, was easy for us as we had a car but even if you dont the attractions are all together in the centre so just a 5 min car journey away & then everything on foot. The hotel is one of the oldest but has been refurbished & in immaculate condition although the bathroom had a dated bath & would have preferred a walk in shower. İts located high up with views over the whole city & opposite a beautiful park if you like a bit of nature and an Archeololgical museum so perfect location. İt has its own hot springs so definitely bring your swimwear & you can have a hammam experience (this is an extra charge but worth it) You cant visit Bursa & not have iskender & best place for this is in the Botanik gardens-dont forget to wander upstairs to check out the history Every day at 4pm theres the changing of the guards at the tomb by the clock tower-try to plan your day around this. Got peckish at around midnight & had the club sandwich, as you can see from the photo it was delivious & more than enough for 2. Would definitely recommend & stay here again.
