"A lovely home, that needs some TLC before renters!!!Pros - Great location, size, attractive inside/outside. Cons - We never received check in or check out instructions, like every other VRBO rental. We communicated to owner that we needed to know how to get into the property. She sent a code that did not work, then later had to give another code. When we woke up & wanted to leave, I once again had to reach out to her & ask about check out. The home smelled the entire time we were there, despite being told it would go away once the air ran for a bit. It’s “from the paper mill,” & yet we only smelled it outside 1 time. The home was not clean. Upstairs toilet had not been cleaned & had leftover feces. Sheets did not appear to be clean either, hair in beds. No towels in upstairs bathrooms, had to get towels from downstairs master. The towels that were available need to be replaced, as they are in terrible condition. No matching glasses, mugs, cups. It’s a mess of a cabinet with what looks like a bunch of leftover cups from restaurants. Ice maker makes a strobe light, needs to be addressed. 1 of the chairs in family room is broken & needs to be replaced. Lots of blankets next to couch, all could use a cleaning. Porches/furniture need to be cleaned. Leftover Torchys food in fridge!We’ve been renting from VRBO for many, many years. We’ve never had a bad experience, guess it was time. The number 1 question you may have, would we rent again? NO. NEVER. Not a good experience. "

"We were pleasantly surprised. Staff was very friendly. The room was nice. The bed was a little firmer than we like, but that’s a personal preference. The bed linen and pillows were very nice and cozy. The shower had great pressure. Word to the wise, there is no hair dryer in the room. Ask for one when you check in. Will stay again. "

"Worst VRBO rental I’ve ever encountered. Pictures on the VRBO site was the only positive about this rental. The entire property didn’t smell or look like it had been opened/aired out in months. Furnishings, linens and towels were old and thread bare. Beds were lumpy and old. The downstairs area had cobwebs everywhere as you walk down the stairs. Everything smelled musty and damp. One of the beds had mouse droppings in the sheets and the comforter had been eaten through by a mouse or small critter. There were only 5 thread bare towels and nothing in the bathrooms. We had to buy towels, wash rags and additional toilet paper for a 2 day stay. The AC was locked and couldn’t be changed. The refrigerator and freezer didn’t work. Everything cold was kept in coolers with ice. The was an over-priced camping experience .Renter beware. Not a recommended place to stay."
