Good apartment, centrally located in Burnie
The apartment (The Gallery) was located on the ground floor but was cut into the slope of a hill and had only one window facing the path upto the upper floor apartments. This limited the amount of light coming into the room. The bathroom was long and narrow and had no natural light. There was a kitchenette with a microwave (no cooktop) and with limited kitchen utensils. The provisions for breakfast included 3 types of cereal, bread and butter, processed fruit and juice drink. A large scene from Cradle Mountain was painted on one wall and looked very nice. The furnishings were a little dated but functional.

In Burnie for work stayed here one night. Property is well located easy to find only a short drive to city centre and the beach. Quiet and safe and therefore a great option for solo travellers. The room is beautiful and clean. Feels like home away from home which is great for people like myself who is on the road for work a lot. Comfy bed and pillows. Owner of this property Heather is highly responsive and very helpful. Would recommend and would stay again.

Very clean and comfortable studio room, fitted out to a high standard. Close to town but in a quiet road. The free continental breakfasts were generous.

Very nice décor. I stayed in the Marlene Munroe room and then the James Dean Room. Both were well decorated, although my preference was the décor of the James Dean Room. I would have preferred skim (or at least low fat milk), instead of full cream. Another B&B gave the choice, which was a good idea. Butter from the fridge does not spread, so a choice of margarine would be good too. The owners have tried to think of the detail to make their stay memorial and they have done well. One thing, it does lack, is where were the owners? The key system was good, allowing access at convenient times for the guests, but the owner coming out to say hello, would take that up a notch.

There was amazing attention to detail in the house. It was just luxurious to have an enormous house to ourselves (The Hollywood House). The bed was comfy, the breaky left in the kitchen was lovely (cereal, bread, jam, fresh milk, etc). We were sad that we'd only booked one night!

Great room. Very comfortable and a really good size. Good breakfast and even hot chocolate, not just tea and coffee - but would have liked OJ! Nice touches with the Marilyn memorabilia

I travel both Nationally and Statewide for business and have done for many years and I can honestly say that 'Jones on Wilson" is by far the best accommodation Australia wide. The rooms are immaculately clean and ever so comfortable. All provisions including the continental breakfast are excellent. All the little extras supplied by the jwonderful owners make this a "true" home away from home. Thank you Jones on Wilson, I would not even consider staying anywhere else.

Nice & Cosy
Whilst my stay was only for one night I was very happy with the accomodations. Wonderful owners of the B n B who were quick to assist with any queries I had. Comfortable heated room, continental breakfast provided and a cosy bed I did not want to leave :) I would definitely stay again.
