"Quiet relaxing place with nice view of lake"

"You know what?I really loved our stay at the thunderbird lodge.I've seen a couple negative reviews. And i may have put three stars on maintenance and useful amenities. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my stay as much as I absolutely could.They had a full kitchen, so we didn't have a grill outside like most cabins . But we had a full kitchen a walk in pantry with two fridges two freezers a ton of shelf space a massive patio ride on the lake?It was absolutely beautiful.The staff was super helpful. Apparently, the grounds are haunted so super fun ."

"I almost never give a poor rating for a place and extend a ton of grace. However, the description of this property is misleading and it must be pointed out.There is not a proper bed. Nowhere in the listing does it state what sort of bed there is other than stating that the "bedroom" has a double bed. The "bed" is the sofa, extended. No extra mattress. It's basically sleeping on a board. I would NOT have booked this property if it said anywhere in the listing that the bed was a sofa. Like a fool, I trusted that there was actually a double bed as stated and figured that a photo of the bed must not have been added yet. There is no photo of a bed in the listing because there is no bed. It was so uncomfortable that I nearly left to drive the hour home at 3AM. It was miserable!Additionally, if you are going to hang your entire listing on good wifi, it should work. It didn't work when we got there. Messaged the owner who was quite nice and did quickly turn it on. However, it went out again hours later and too late to message. It worked for a total of about two hours.Overall, this stay will make our anniversary trip "the saga of the terrible uncomfortable non-bed". At least we get a story out of it. "

"We had an absolutely amazing stay at this lake house with Whitetail Rentals! The property is truly gorgeous—everything was spotless, well-maintained, and so thoughtfully set up. The bedding was incredibly comfortable, and we loved that there were plenty of pullout beds to easily accommodate extra guests without feeling crowded.There was so much to do that we didn’t even get to experience everything the house had to offer—which just means we’ll have to come back! One of our favorite parts was being able to bring our boat and use the private slip all weekend. It made the whole trip even more convenient and enjoyable.A huge shoutout to our host, Tricia—she was amazing! So accommodating, easy to reach, and checked in on us to make sure everything was perfect throughout our stay. That level of care really made the experience even better.If you’re looking for a relaxing, fun, and beautiful getaway, this place is it. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking again!"

"Great property. Had everything you could need and beautiful spot on the water. Burnet a short drive away for any food or activities."

"This easily could have been a 5 star stay but the cold weather had a big impact. The pipes froze overnight on the 2nd of 3 nights so I didn't have water the last day and a half of my stay. The main tv was broken and had to use a smaller one on the side table. Also the fireplace heater was broken and the small portable heaters could not keep up with the cold, when I woke up the last morning it was probably 45 inside. Again, nothing that could be controlled by the host. I will definitely be coming back and give it another chance"
