Everything we needed for cooking was available including spices. This is a wonderful place to stay and the host are the best! The rooms are very comfortable and the main bedroom even has an adjustable bed. It was a peaceful retreat and much needed from our busy lives. My husband and I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful Cozy Excellent

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely property. It was super clean, had everything what we could need ( even make up remover wipes, it was so thoughtful, since I forgot mine). We spent great time on both porches watching the nature and all kind of birds. Owners are great hosts!!!

Nice and clean

The house was very clean and has everything you need and then some! The beds were comfortable. Checking in was hassle free. Loved the added touch of the cookies and snacks! Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

Great Little Hideaway

While even though just off the highway, the location had a private feel that our family enjoyed. Constant communication from the owners to help if any issues arises. Detailed check in and check out process. Just as described. Will definitely look to book again in the future. Thanks again!

Great little get away!!

Great little get away! Less than 10 min from the lake. To do some fishing or floating. 15mins to Burkesville and maybe 20 to Celina. House was very clean and a great set up for my son and I. Maybe just enough room for boat parking. Enjoyed the stay and would book again in the future.

Wonderful Place

This is the best VRBO that we've stayed in. The fresh baked cookies when we walked in the door. The cleanliness was excellent. The home was well decorated, and the master bed was incredible. Highly recommend. We will be booking with them next time.

Perfect stay!

We enjoyed our stay, family of 5 with 3 small kids, everything was very clean!! Comfortable beds, and I have to mention how nice it was to have the amenities, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, bathroom needs, laundry detergent and dryer sheets! We always bring these with us but it was so nice that it was already provided if we needed it. Thank you for the great stay!! We will definitely stay here again,

Weekend at the lake

Wonderful stay. Home is very clean and comfortable in an excellent location. Half way point between Dale Hollow marina and Mikes Landing. Host provided home baked cookies that were delicious. Many extras with towels and provided cookware. Property is beatifu south a peaceful back deck that's perfect for quiet relaxation.

Excellent Hosts. Great place to stay very clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more. Grill and back deck is awesome. Highly recommend if traveling with a boat, we were able to get 2 bass boats in the carport with ample electric nearby. Good location for early mornings at the boat ramp. Would definitely book again.

Home away from home @ Dale Hollow Lake

Home made cookies to welcome us, and absolutely everything you would need to be comfortable away from home. If you forgot to bring something, it is likely stocked in the rental. The host was responsive and even greeted us the first day. Ten minutes from town and ten minutes from the marina. Great stay!can’t wait to go back.

Boating and Golf

We have stayed at this property twice now. It is very clean and comfortable. Host is awesome. Delicious homemade cookies and plenty of snacks are provided as well and kitchen and bath amenities that are not typically provided. Very close to golf course and lake. We plan on making this stay an annual event.

Great place!!

We were lucky enough to stay a week and I have to say that this is the absolute cleanest I have stayed at. Came into fresh baked cookies! The furniture was very comfortable and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud! They truly are “super hosts” in my eyes. They have done everything to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. There’s nothing that they haven’t thought of.

Little piece of paradise

This little property was perfect for is to stay at. We came down to turkey hunt and found this property just 20 minutes away from the hunting lease. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Also, the grandson enjoyed the snacks provided. Unfortunately, we had to leave a day ahead of schedule due to our guide changing ourhunting location.

Quick Getaway

We want to Dale Hollow lake for a quick fishing trip. Boating Mecca was a perfect place to stay, right down the street from the Dale Hollow State Park. I had a little trouble getting in the front door (totally my fault) and the owner was there in a couple of minutes to help me get in (I was entering the number incorrectly). The space was very clean and had everything we needed. They even left us a fresh baked plate of cookies and some of their farm fresh eggs. Will definitely go back!

Cozy inviting home

My husband and I loved staying here. It was so clean and well stocked with everything you could need.The home was warm and inviting inside and out. The master bedroom even had an adustable bed. When we walked in there was a plate full of homemade cookies and a card wishing us a Happy Anniversary. There were also a number of other snacks and drinks available. We also enjoyed all of the birds, espesially the hummingbirds! The owner stopped by to greet us and really made us feel welcome. My husband and I highly reccomend staying at this home.

Perfect house for DH lovers!

This house exceeded our expectations in every way. The moment we walked in the door we were pleasantly surprised by fresh baked cookies and a nice little snack pack waiting on the counter. This house is located minutes from the state docks which was perfect for us since we visit the area to boat. The entire property is very well maintained inside and out. There is a great front porch and back deck to relax on with nice ambient lighting. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for 4 of us to relax. The blackstone grill was a nice surprise and we used it each night to cook on. We loved our stay and will definitely rent again!

Perfect Golf/Hiking Getaway

This was our final stop during a lengthy golf outing that took us to courses in Winchester TN, Black Mountain NC, Asheville NC, Hickory NC and eventually Burkesville, KY. The home was perfectly located less than five miles from Dale Hollow Golf Course - one of the top ranked public courses not just in Kentucky but the US. Dave went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed including snacks, water and most importantly coffee. We ate breakfast at The Lodge inside the Dale Hollow State Park and found the food to be very good and the prices reasonable. We had dinner at The Quarry which sits atop Weir Mountain. If you are lucky you can have the restaurant/mountain owner, Tom Weir entertain you with the story of the restaurant's origin while you eat. He was a lot of fun and the view breathtaking. If your plan is to spend time enjoying the park (golf, boating, hiking, horseback riding, etc), then look no further than Dave's place. You won't regret it. We plan on going back.
