Charming 3-bedroom home in Bland close to I77, Appalachian Trail & National For
10/10 Excellent
"After a very long trip, this house was a perfect spot to recharge our batteries. Everything we needed in peaceful farm country. And a short drive to charming Main Street in Wytheville. "
"We had a greet time at this cute little house in Bramwell. The host was always prompt to answer any questions and give recommendations for the trails. The house had everything we needed to cook meals after riding all day. The washer and dryer was an unexpected, but awesome bonus! We were able to clean our clothes each evening after riding. Don’t let the widow units fool you! They kept the house plenty cool!! The home was very clean. The front porch was so relaxing! Don’t hesitate to book this house! If you stay here, be sure to check out The Corner Diner in downtown!! Definitely the BEST milkshake we have ever had! This is coming from a milkshake snob!!"
"Jessica the GM was absolutely amazing, we arrived early before check in after traveling all day and she waived the early check in fee and had a room ready for us! "
"My wife and I really enjoyed the stay. It's close to downtown Tazewell, but far enough out of town that you feel like you're out in the mountains far from civilization. It's a quaint, new-ish wooden cabin with everything we needed for a couple days away. There's no TV, but honestly we didn't miss it, and it was nice to not mindlessly flip on the screen during downtime. I'd go back again for sure when traveling that way."
Cabin in the Blue Ridge ,10% discount for Military, Christian and special groups
10/10 Excellent
"Our family trip to Cabin in the Blue Ridge was perfect. The cabin was large enough to accommodate our group, with beds to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed, even large pots and pans, plenty of baking sheets, 2 coffee pots, and two ovens, plus there's a huge table for meals, and board games. There are bathrooms on each of the three floors, which is nice when you have a group. There was plenty of seating on the porches and the views from every side were just stunning. We could see horses and cows grazing on the hillsides, and the horses even visited one morning, we woke up with them right outside the window. We walked the trails, and the kids had fun following the trail map and sign posts. If you're looking for a place for a large group, and if you appreciate a rustic, country atmosphere, this cabin is a great choice. We are already talking about a return trip."
"Had a lovely time. House is great and beautifully furnished. Enjoyed all the rooms.
Some suggestions:
1. the bunk bed room was freezing cold, might want to add a heat source
2. You should advertise that there are two refrigerators in the kitchen. We loved that, but we all brought large coolers for beverages and they weren’t needed.
3. Problem in the upstairs bathroom, the sink did not drain properly. May want to look at that immediately.
4. Those who used that upstairs bath suggested that you add a table or piece of furniture to put your items on when you use the bathroom.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. "
