Exquisite B&B!

We had the loveliest stay at this property and the hosts were amazing, they went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay! The entire house is immaculate and well decorated and the meals were to die for!! Would stay here again and I highly recommend it to others in the Finger Lakes!

The perfect spot! I cannot say enough about our 2 night stay at Burdett House B&B: beautiful inside and out with a smart mix of time period and functional pieces. Details from local soaps/lotion to snack area upstairs, room key on vintage key, wrap around porch decorated for fall, cozy room with attached bathroom. Breakfast was fresh and delicious in their inviting dining room. Ashley and Dave’s recommendations for local attractions, restaurants, bars, wineries were spot on, especially Here for brunch, Grist Iron Brewery for live music, Overlook coffee, and Solera for a drink! Close to Watkins Glen and 30 min to Ithaca.

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay at the Burdett House. Not only are Ashley and Dave fantastic hosts they sure know how to make a phenomenal breakfast. Their home is super clean, meticulously maintained and provides a super cozy vintage feel. The location is walking distance to some of the wineries and a quick drive into town/near hiking trails. Thank you again for the awesome visit. We hope to be back!

How the owners treat their guest, answer any questions about the area, information on wineries, and the breakfast they make is always a well balanced meal and tasty. Property is close to Watkins Glenn for shopping, restaurants, and a public park.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at the Burdett House! The hosts were so hospitable and welcoming, and they made a lot of great recommendations for wineries and activities. The room was beautiful, comfortable, with a lot of character. Our breakfast each morning was home cooked and as good as any restaurant. Would strongly recommend.

Outstanding in so many ways

This was one of the best B&B's we have stayed in. Beautiful home in keeping with Victorian character while up to date with modern needs. Room very nice and a good size and bed very comfortable. Delicious breakfasts. Ashley and Dave very knowledgeable and helpful.

SO CHARMING!!!

We had an amazing time visiting the Finger Lakes, mostly due to our fabulous stay at the Burdett House. Ashley and David were so warm and welcoming. They have a way of making us feel like both a very special guest and a member of the family at the same time. There is so much to do in the Finger Lakes that it can be overwhelming. Ashley gave us a lot of wonderful suggestions of what to see and do during our visit and every one of them was fantastic. The house is so charming and exactly what one pictures when they think of a quaint bed & breakfast in this region. It’s got so much character and when you’re inside the house, you feel as if it is giving you a warm hug. In fact, they should rename it the Burdett HOME. The breakfasts that Ashley and David cook are incredible. Each morning they offer a different pre-breakfast appetizer and they were so delicious that I had to order smaller breakfast portions because I just couldn’t finish everything. They offer several options for breakfast but be sure not to miss the delicious pancakes! I just wish I had spent more time with Hudson, their very sweet and adorable dog. There are so many places to stay in this region, but we’d come back to the Burdett House in a heartbeat because we know that we will have another fabulous experience. Thank you, Ashley and David, for making our stay so wonderful!

The Knickerbocker room is beautifully decorated and has been tastefully updated. The bathroom is a really good size. There is also a cute private balcony. The home is very clean and doesn’t have any unpleasant smells that many older homes have. This B&B is close to many attractions in the Finger Lakes region. A local coffee shop is within walking distance. There are also many wineries and breweries in the area. We did find that due to the time of year, many places either close early or activities are not available, but we were mostly there to see waterfalls and hike, which were plentiful. Ashley and David are very friendly hosts and provided us with delicious breakfasts, snacks and bottled water, tips on nearby attractions, and a bonfire to relax by. Communication was good and there were a lot of nice added touches. We would definitely stay here again.

I highly recommend Burdett House B&B! A beautifully maintained Victorian home built in the 1880's, it has all the classic appointments you'd expect. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very accommodating. Great place to stay!
