Bungaree offered a friendly welcome, very comfortable self contained accommodation and the bonus of an opportunity to learn about the history of this significant property via walking around the grounds and using listening stations at various points of interest. The property is a short drive from the Clare township but an on property store offers wine and other local products. Breakfast ingredients including fresh eggs were supplied. This is the best place to stay in Clare that we have found to date.
It was such a special treat to stay at Bungaree. There is so much history here and it was lovely to be with nature a d in the country. The kids really enjoyed feeding the animals with Sally.

Clean, cute, private, beautiful outlook and walks, great little cafe/store. Will be back to stay in Stallion Box again!
The history of this property compels you to investigate every building and facility on site. It is still a working farm with sheep cattle and crops. The owners have developed the property to inform and present life as it was to the present day, and it took us hours to investigate everything from the homestead to working outbuildings. Just fantastic!!!
