Exquisite dog-friendly home with kayaks, pool table, hot tub, & washer/dryer

  • Located on the private side of Lake Anna, this gorgeous home with a private boat ramp and jet ski ramp is the perfect getaway for you and your loved ones to make memories. The home sits on a short deep-water cove so that you can enjoy all the action close by. Bring your boat or rent one to fish, water ski, paddleboard, kayak (there are two available,) or enjoy every other waterfront activity you can imagine. At the end of the day, relax your muscles in the new (spring 2023) saltwater hot tub. Take in the gorgeous, sprawling lake views from the newly built deck. Gather around the firepit to roast marshmallows and tell stories until the stars come out to dot the sky.

    Upon entry, you'll be met with a bright interior thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows and an airy atmosphere. Relax and make yourself at home by curling up on the plush furniture to read a good book by the fireplace or stream your favorite movie on the large TV. Prepare grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the full kitchen, equipped with stainless steel appliances, a breakfast bar, and a formal dining table. Downstairs, you'll find a recreational area filled with books, board games, a foosball table, an air hockey table, and a pool table for friendly competition. Kids will love hosting sleepovers in the bunk beds, where they can make memories that'll last a lifetime.

I stayed here with 3 girlfriends for a weekend getaway and we loved it! The home is spacious, the kitchen has everything you need, the WiFi worked great, and the hot tub was amazing. The home is also very clean and there were plenty of towels for everyone, which was a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful trip

We loved the fact that it was very quiet. No one was around. Use of the hot tub was a plus, and use of the fire pit top off the last night of the stay. Keep up the good work!

Family Christmas at LKA

Our family stayed over Christmas 2024. The house was clean and spacious enough for our 6 adults, 14 month old, and our family dog. The basement has a game room (game tables are as described in the listing) perfect for kids and adults. The house is located close to a shopping center with a Food Lion and pizza take out. We would stay here again.

Perfect for a relaxing weekend with family & friends

Beautiful, spacious house with an incredible view of the lake. We loved the floor-to-ceiling windows, the new deck, the screened porch, and the hot tub. The kids enjoyed having the first floor - with pool, air hockey, foos ball, and their own TV and fireplace - all to themselves. We also appreciated that it was dog friendly. Everything was clean and in great shape, with plenty of bathrooms.

Quick getaway

We enjoyed our stay! The home was spacious and we loved the view of the water! The refrigerator temperature was not very cold so we used our cooler as a backup. Later saw that an additional refrigerator was on the porch. Nice stay overall!

Wonderful Family Time!

What a great place to bring the family together!...something for everyone. Everything was in perfect working order. The screened porch on the dock was the biggest hit. We fished (caught a couple nice ones), canoed and kayak'ed and spent time around the fire-pit every night. Definitely on our return list.

Perfect Fall Escape

We absolutely loved our girls getaway weekend at Secluded Serenity. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well appointed and has everything needed. We enjoyed the large deck and beautiful views from the living room windows. The hot tub was amazing. We didn't use the game room, but it looked like lots of fun! Easy check in and check out- great communication! The only complaint is that the electrical outlets were not working in the lower level bathroom. Other than that - perfection!

AMAZING!!!

This place is amazing. As soon as we walked in the views were beautiful. We all had so much fun Fom kayaking, renting a jet ski, jumping off the dock and swimming in the lake. Floating on rafts all day. The game room was a huge hit and the karoke machine was great! The kitchen was amazing and has everything imaginable. We took a day and went tothe Metro Richmond Zoo. It was super nice. Also if you get a chance get some ice cream at Moo Thru. This place was definitely worth going to and we will be going back next year. The weather was perfect every day as well.This is the place to be!

Had a nice time

We had a nice time, the house was a great size for my family of four and our dogs. I wish there had been a king size bed though, all rooms just had queens (or bunks). We’d love to come back when it’s warm and not raining…end of March the water was about 64 degrees so too cold to get in (although my hubby and kids did a few cold plunges). The hot tub was great, and the dock and boat house were nice. We brought our own kayaks and were able to do that a bit. It’s super easy to walk down the yard into the water. Kitchen was a good size as were bedrooms and bathrooms. House was clean and comfortable and the back deck is nice and big. Underneath patio was nice too with swinging chairs. The neighborhood is quiet and private.

Beautiful home, view, and grounds, but could use a little TLC

We stayed for a week at this lovely lakefront property with our adult family of four and our two dogs. It's in a fantastic location for families with pets, offering beautiful grounds and a spacious home. While the lake was dealing with some bacteria issues, we still enjoyed using the kayaks and even borrowed a pontoon boat for the week. Though the fishing wasn’t great, the weather was perfect, and we made good use of the comfortable outdoor furniture and the hot tub. After what was likely a busy rental season, the home could benefit from some TLC. The paint on the kitchen cabinets is very chipped, some kitchenware was lacking, and there was a mismatched set of glassware. The blender was missing its vessel, the kitchen fridge/freezer was a bit unreliable (though there is a second fridge on the screened porch), and the dishwasher wasn’t performing well. Despite these minor issues, we loved the home and had a wonderful week filled with reading, boating, and relaxing.

Broken stuff, poor customer service

Cons: The dishwasher was broken while we were there and we had to spend over 2 hours washing dishes which isn’t really someone wants to do on a vacation with small children. The customer service to fix the issue was terrible. The garbage disposal was broken, the fridge was dirty with meat juice all over it and there was no cleaning supplies to clean it up. The bathrooms downstairs smell kind of like sewage and you can hear crickets in one of the bathroom drains. They had no firewood or matches for the fire pit and the pit itself wasn’t great for fire. The chairs upstairs on the porch broke when we sat on them and they have an ant problem. The house is north facing so you don’t really get the sunset. Pros: gorgeous view and beds were comfortable. Lots of games and good for kids.

Can’t say enough about this BEAUTIFUL house!! It had plenty of privacy for so many bedrooms, with each having their own bathrooms! Plenty of open yard, with an easy-access boat/kayak ramp! I wanted to buy this house!!! LOVED IT!! The ONLY advice I would give the renter is to leave DETAILED instructions on how to work the kitchen appliances. A lot of “pushing buttons” to get things to work. And, if I’m not mistaken, we believed the appliances are set to “remote access” maybe for safety reasons (which is understandable, if things are left on). For instance, we slow cooked ribs in the oven and noticed the oven automatically shut off after a few hours. So, we had to turn it on again. If we didn’t realize the shut off in time, that would have been bad for dinner. Just something to keep in mind if you’re slow roasting dinner. Also, we found a broken glass in the dishwasher when we loaded, so the cleaners might want to include checking the dishwasher in their check-list. Fantastic place - So peaceful and majestic !!! I would stay every weekend if I could!!

The location was wonderful, the house is big, many games in the basement but the utilities are a bit outdated, we run out of gas in the first night, the hot tub stoped working at some point. BTW the wanted are very warm at this area which for us was a plus
