"We had a great experience with this hotel, the room was spacious and clean, but the truly exceptional element is the location, it really couldn't be better. Looking onto the central square where everything is, yet set off in a very quiet courtyard where we had the most tranquil sleep possible. Breakfast was also the best one we found in Uzbekistan, They helped us out sorting onward transport to Samarkand etc, an all round thumbs up from us!"

"Pros: Really like the authentic decor - fits well with the overall ambiance of Bukhara. Definitely a boutique lodging! Staff were very helpful - I was allowed to choose my room, which was a real treat. Breakfast was a real treat - lots of options, and a pleasant dining experience. Cons: Some of the structure shows some wear and is in need of upgrading. Nothing major, but things like detached trim, wear spots, etc. Not their fault, but a lot of construction going on in the neighborhood. ...

"We are very pleased with our stay at Kukaldosh. The location is superb as we are just 2mins away from the money changer, and an entire stretch of beautiful restaurants. The main attractions of Bukhara are all within short walking distance from the hotel, and it saved us a lot of time looking for food and transporting to the different attractions. The front office staff (whose name we didn't get) was helpful, polite, and friendly. He spoke excellent english, making communication easy between us....
