The hotel itself is very clean, with a lovely aroma throughout and a modern, stylish feel. It’s clear that care is taken in maintaining the space, and it does create a pleasant first impression. However, one major issue that should be clearly advertised is the lack of privacy in the rooms — the bathroom area is only separated by sheer curtains. This setup may be fine for couples or solo travelers, but it is definitely not suitable for families or those traveling with companions where privacy is important. In our case, a grandfather and granddaughter were sharing a room, and the lack of a proper bathroom enclosure made it extremely uncomfortable. We raised our concerns with hotel staff and initially, they were not willing to accommodate us with a different room — even though it should have been a simple fix given the situation. After pushing back and putting up quite a fight, they eventually did provide us with a more suitable room, but the lack of empathy or understanding from the start was disappointing. We shouldn’t have had to advocate so hard for a basic level of consideration. This place is better suited for couples or individuals. Families or anyone needing privacy should think twice — and the hotel should be more transparent about the bathroom layout in their advertising.

This was a lovely Boutique Hotel in a perfect location, right across the street from the big marketplace. The room was very nice and the staff could not be nicer. They had a lovely breakfast buffet and also a very nice rooftop pool with an amazing view. The breakfast buffet was also excellent. Thumbs up.

This was definitely not a 4 star hotel as listed, i thhink it was a 3 star.. However room was spotless and hotel very clean, staff were very pleasant There was no business centre to print in. The pool was a disappointment as it was currently boarded up at one side and access was up a rickety fire escape and tiles were missing around the pool terrace. Limited sunchairs and no umbrellas but the pool itself was a welcome relief in the heat. we were not advised in advance of the pool area being refurbished and half the terrace closed. Breakfast was OK, nothing outstanding. Wifi and aircon in room were good and overall a pleasant stay.

Then hotel is centrally located to everything you'd want to walk to like the museum, art galleries, restaurants, & local shops. Our room was great. Our room did not have a street or river view however it did have a window that opened to a lovely internal courtyard with plants, a table and seating for 2 and bench swings. The courtyard is accessible for use although I believe we were the only guests to use it. We really appreciated the quietness when we arrived for the night to sleep. The water pressure is very strong. Robes and slippers are provided. I really appreciated the bedside control panel for all the lights. The breakfast buffet was delicious! All the food was fresh. The buffet stations were kept clean and well stocked. If an item was finished it was either refilled or cleaned up. The staff were extremely professional. They all were welcoming and polite when we arrived and left. I highly recommend The Hotel Grand Saigon. I will definitely stay here again.
