"Very poor compared to other hotels we stayed at in Germany"

"Room was very clean and it had a small refrigerator,for long distance travellers stopping overnight, to store food stuffs (sandwiches & water etc) for their onward journey."

There is not alot around the hotel so if you need anything such as drink, snacks, toiletries I would recommend getting them before you go. "the moquette with very very long hair is something that is extremely hard to clean, and in my opinion should never be inside a hotel room where guests can change every day. the single room is really small."

"Hotel Gruener Sand was a very nice place, very clean room, courteous staff, helpful for someone like me that speaks very little German. Dinners were delicious in the little pub, and breakfast was also delicious. Very personalized care, and the only thing that I would recommend for the room(s)m, would be a little apartment size refrigerator. We had some juice drinks that needed refrigeration. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality"
