Hiking trails, restaurants and shopping are all just minutes away. You and your guest will enjoy the spacious interior and the cozy outdoor space.

All Pinon homes are "vacation ready" with a fully appointed kitchen, towels and linens. Hand, dish and shower soaps are provided, as well as toilet paper, trash bags, salt and pepper and coffee filters. Bring your own laundry detergent, paper napkins and toiletries.

Pinon Vacation Rentals provides guest support from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 pm.

All guests are responsible for reading Welcome Book “Check-In and Check-Out instructions.

~Acceptance of the terms of the Rental Agreement and all Rental Policies is ASSUMED at the time of reservation. Five to 7 days before arrival, check-instructions will be sent to the guest.

**This home is rented for personal vacation use only. Any other use including large gatherings or parties is not allowed. Renters must abide by all rental terms and policies, as well as all local applicable property covenants, restrictions, regulations and laws. Any evidence of smoking, use of firearms, driving ATV's other than in the driveway as access only, unapproved over-occupancy or pets, unauthorized use of property grounds, damage resulting from violation of rental policies, and/or excessive mess may result in charges up to $1000.00 to the Guest's credit card on file, as authorized by Guest's approval of the terms of the Rental Agreement.

Reservations may be canceled more than 30 days prior to check-in with full refund minus a $125 Cancellation fee or a $75 Change fee if applicable. No refunds will be issued after this cut-off date for any reason. No refunds will be issued due to weather conditions.**

Excellent property!

This was a great property for our family. Everyone has room to spread out when they wanted and we had a great space for family time and meals too. The property manager was very responsive to the one need we had while we stayed there. We will likely stay here again when we're back in the area.

"We had an amazing stay! The place had everything we needed for a perfect home away from home. We went skiing and had an unforgettable experience on a snowmobile for the first time. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the host was incredibly accommodating. We highly recommend this spot and can’t wait to return!"

Lovely retreat

We enjoyed our stay here. The accommodation was comfortable and convenient for our needs meeting up with family in the area. The only issue I had was my bad back had a hard time adjusting to the memory foam mattress.

From reservation, checkin, checkout everything was easy. Property bey clean and exactly as specified in listing. Area nice with easy access to food and beverage. Overall a very good experience for our group. Would recommend highly.

Cozy and convenient

We had a great time here! It was clean, organized, and just perfect for our family stay (4 adults, 2 kids, 1 dog). It was convenient for so many activities in the area. You can tell the owners take pride in their space and it felt so cozy with all the comforts of home. Check-in and check-out was easy. We'd love to come back for another visit!

Great little retreat near Salida

We loved everything about this property for our family of four (with a pre-teen and teen). There is plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was appointed with everything you might need to cook. The beds were very comfy and the whole unit was decorated stylishly with a chic mountain vibe. Would be back to stay any time!

Awesome Find

We ski frequently at Monarch Mountain. We needed a dog friendly property this year and came across River Valley Retreat. It was a great find! The location was the best part! We typically stay in Garfield but quickly realized, this spot in Poncha Springs was perfect. Quick trips to the grocery store for forgotten items, quick trips to downtown Salida to walk around or grab a bite and the drive to the mountain wasn’t bad either. Loved the property.

Nice getaway

Location isn't too far from Salida or Monarch ski area in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access and a lot of space for (4) adults and (2) kids and (1) dog. Walking distance to a playground and having a small fenced area were a big plus. Beds were comfortable and quiet rooms. Only complaints were dog hair on some of the clean linens (specifically when we pulled out the roll out bed under the queen) and it could use a few more basic cooking items (foil, rimmed cookie sheets, storage-ware). Host is very responsive.

Loved this property!

This host spent a lot of time making sure that the condo was comfortable and that amenities were stocked. Would definitely stay there again in a heartbeat. The property management company was also very responsive and helpful with getting us booked for an extra night so that we did not have to rush out of there :)

Stay at riverside retreat

This place is always amazingly cozy and inviting!! We love staying in Poncha Springs - a little outside the hubbub of Salida. Nothing specific has come up other than the garbage bins - just a simple manner of leaving them in garage until garbage day.
