This is a rustic stay. The cabin is clean and had ehat you need. Make sure to bring provisions because there is no place to get food around.

A very small, but adorable and comfortable cabin. I think it could be even better with some rearranging of furniture to better fit into the limited space. Directions and access were superb!

Cabin 3 had lovely views straight out of the front door. It was quiet and peaceful. We were able to see the northern lights quite well. The cabin is the right size for two people with all of the basics. We really enjoyed our nights here.

Small peaceful guesthouse in the country.

Lovely location. Quiet and peaceful. Complete cottage with kitchen but very small. We cooked a nice dinner and breakfast. My only suggestion, for Americans not used to northern summers some darker curtains to keep out the midnight sun would be nice.

I was impressed with the kitchen and bathroom upgrades. The house had a cozy feel to it. Reasonable price for the stay as well. I was unable to lock the main door from the inside though. The immediate surroundings were a little odd with a warehouse and an abandoned car (?). it would be good to have a shower door to keep the bathroom floor dry and also have a heater in the bathroom. But the highlight of our stay there was rather serendipitous. We saw a beautiful arctic fox near the house. What a blessing! That was one of the main highlights of our trip to Iceland.

Wonderfully nice owners. Beautiful property on some farmland. Was a bit difficult to access related to lack of cell service (not the owner's fault - but something to keep in mind for future guests). House was clean and provided everything you needed for the stay! Would recommend to anyone traveling near.

This was a very charming little cottage in a beautiful setting. I especially loved the mare & foal in the meadow of yellow wildflowers right out our window. It was nice to have our own cottage next door to the cottage of the other couple we were traveling with.

Our host was welcoming and very helpful with suggestions of things to see in the area. There were weather warnings the day we left and she was very helpful in helping me find the safest route to our next destination. We were thankful for her help and advice.

Nice little cabin

Nice detached cabin. Kitchen has fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a single hot plate. Beds were comfortable and cabin was very clean. Would definitely stay again if I were in the area

We enjoyed our night here. This was a small cabin. It has internet and enjoyed watching the goats and horses next door. It is fairly secluded, which was fine with us. The instructions were perfect and slept well. Would stay here again.

Place is nice, hotels.com is the problem

I have no issues with my stay per se. However, for the second time in a two-week trip, Hotels.com didn’t send me the email with check-in information, and attempts to contact hotels.com only resulted in repeatedly being sent my confirmation information. In the end, I was able to contact the owner of the place directly to get the information, and he was very helpful. I have one more stay booked through hotels.com, and I dread going through this again.
