Turn of the century elegance with a modern twist

The listed historic building, besides accommodating our property, also provides a home to a Michelin-star restaurant down at the street level. This renovated flat offers a great feel of a turn-of-the-century building with high ceilings, tall old doors, yet a modern layout with all 21st-century features built in, with an air conditioning system with units in every room. The apartment has new double-glazed windows offering complete sound protection once you return home from the busy streets of Pest. Once you step out of the building, you will feel that you couldn't possibly go any further center. Sas utca is full of restaurants, coffee houses, located by the Basilica, 2- 5 minutes walk from the Danube river, the Chain bridge, and Kiraly street, the world-famous Ruinpubs area, 10 minutes walk from the world's 2nd largest Synagogue. The apartment is on the 3rd floor and the building has an elevator/lift.

Amazing location, what a find!

Easy check in, clean and pleasant apartment with plenty of space for four. The location was unbeatable and we LOVED our stay. Will come back to the same place on our next trip to Budapest!

The apartment has significant noise and light issues that made it difficult to sleep. The noise insulation is poor—you can hear sounds clearly from both inside and outside the unit. The bedroom sliding door is especially loud, and every time someone opens it, it wakes everyone up. One of the bedrooms does not have blinds or dark curtains, so the bright morning light wakes you up very early. Additionally, light from the outside corridor shines into the room at night, making it very hard to fall asleep. Overall, the apartment may not be suitable for light sleepers or anyone sensitive to noise and light.

Best communication from any owner I have worked with, helped with activity suggestions and secured private driver for transportation to airport. Could not have been better!

From our arrival to our departure everything was better than expected. This condo is located near St Stephen’s church. Public transit was easy to access and there was no shortage of restaurants, from Michelin star and everything in between. Barbara and George were unfailingly helpful. The condo was tastefully decorated and bright, the kitchen well equipped. Nothing was lacking, we highly recommend this lovely spot.
