This is definitely not a "traditional" hotel that most Americans are probably used to in the sense that the rooms are in a building that also houses office spaces, etc and the hotel reception is very bare bones. But for the price, the location is excellent. About 10 minute walk to the famous ruin bars, less than 5 minute walk to streets with tons of restaurant choices, 15 minutes to parliament building, 15 minutes to the chain bridge, half an hour to a bath house, and about half an hour to the major attractions on the Buda side, you barely need to use public transportation. If prefer not to walk, there are metro stops within 5 minutes. the rooms were clean, with working AC/safe/ and fridge. Most of all, I felt safe there. No problems walking around the neighborhood at night and the reception has to buzz you in to get into the complex. I would recommend
