"Stayed in high end and low end places. Normally don’t care about most things and just leave a good review, until something really irks me. So I’ll start with main thing. Needed to foam roll after long days of driving so did so on the rug. Now the light sucks and I didn’t pay too much attention. Normally I don’t have allergies but started itching and there was a really strong smell of pet dander. With poor light quality, wood walls, and a dark rug I didn’t notice the state of rug. "It was a great stay. The location was perfect for our needs. We were looking for a secluded cabin to stay while we mainly went hiking through Acadia.The place was clean and stocked well with dishes and basic cooking equipment. The beach access was also a plus - you are maybe a quarter mile away from the coast.Heather was a great host, even reaching out through the stay checking if we needed more linen."
