"We had a wonderful stay at this lake house while visiting Virginia for our grandson’s wedding. We had a large family group of 15, and the house was perfect for all of us.Everything was clean, comfortable, and spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The dock was a favorite spot, and everyone had so much fun enjoying the kayaks, paddle boards, fishing, and swimming.The game room was a huge hit with both kids and adults, and the theater room was another favorite for relaxing together in the evenings.The kitchen was fantastic—large, well stocked, and equipped with just about every pot, dish, and appliance we needed, which made cooking for a big group so much easier.Communication with the owner was excellent, with fast response time. Overall, this house was the perfect place for our family to stay, celebrate, and spend quality time together. We made wonderful memories and would definitely stay here again!"

"Beautiful house with so much to offer for my family ranging in ages from 69 to 5 years of age. House exactly as described except for the incredible lake views from multiple decks. Host focused on experience of guest. Immediate and positive. We had multiple family dinners and celebrated three birthdays in the beautiful gourmet kitchen. Family paddle boarded, played ping pong, pool and many pickleball tourneys. Went to several local restaurants and authentic lake side experiences and met people from all over the region visiting, Great farmers stand about 10 minutes away. Exceeded our expectations. A perfect house and location for creating the memories of a lifetime."

"The area is very wooded, abundant wildlife, private. Outside decking full of old fallen leaves cobwebs, (huge) deck furniture also covered with wooded debris. The inside rooms were large. We only used the master and never went into the water or used any provided supplies but the availability appears plentiful. We had to make our own bed, with the provided sheets which is fine. The sheets appeared clean the under mattress protector horribly stained. We brought our own towels. The dishwasher needs the filter cleaned as previous dirt laid on dishes with finished cycle. I manually rewashed the dishes which were limited. The air filters need changed. The place smelled and appeared clean. Laundry area had a sour smell and noted the floor bucket had floor waste in it. There is way more pots pans utensils you will ever need. Dinner plates set where very nice. Reported a huge hole in the dry wall by the light switch going up the steps, I pictured, reported it on arrival through booking messages and didn't hear back. I'm very aware of use, multiple visitors and cleaning companies. The property manager needs to reevaluate cleaning outside areas few more times a season.. thank you for the opportunity to stay there. We felt safe."

"Great stay overall! The house was clean and well stocked with plenty of cups, plates, linens, and towels. The seating was super comfortable, especially the couches and giant bean bags.We all enjoyed the outdoor amenities—fishing was great (we caught 3!), and the canoe and kayaks were a highlight of the trip. The fire pit made for a perfect second night."

"We stayed here with our young kids (7, 4 and baby). The house has plenty of space with large bedrooms and bathrooms and outdoor space. We could have easily invited grandparents and had space. One note for families with young kids-the primary bedroom is on the 2nd floor and the other two bedrooms are in the lower level/basement so families with really young kids might not be okay sleeping so far away. The house had everything we needed for cooking, kayaking and using the basketball court and outdoor space. The host was very responsive and gave great recommendations for local food and any other questions we had. "

"Such a lovely, peaceful, relaxing, private location with gorgeous views of the water and surrounding woods in a clean, uncluttered, spacious, airy-but-cozy cabin with oodles of natural light. The photos really do not do it justice, it's even more beautiful in person! The host was fantastic, friendly, helpful and just the right amount of communication and always responded to messages quickly!"
