A nice small hotel in a very busy part of the old town. The hotel is located in an interesting area but not easy to access. Rooms are tiny but air conditioning worked well. Staff was extremely helpful providing tips and advice. Breakfast is served in a connecting restaurant but was disappointing with limited selection and little variety. I’m glad I had the opportunity to stay at the Grassmarket Hotel but don’t think I would choose to stay at the hotel in the future.

Lovely apartment. Have now stayed in Edinburgh and St Andrews apartments. Kitchenette light on utensils/cloths but overall a lovely quality property.

Very nice room. Spacious and clean. The only unfortunate part was noise. Our room faced the street and the noise from late night revelers was a definite downside. We were awakened each night by loud partiers passing by. The weather was very warm during our stay and we were not able to keep the windows open due the noise. This may seem like a petty complaint but it certainly took away from the experience.

"Rooms need upgrading and proper cleaning. There was a lot of dust and the bed was poorly made. The carpet leading from the elevator to the room was dirty and smelly in some places.
