Overall, this was an ok place and served its purpose for a quick rest before a red-eye flight. The staff at check in were lovely, had a nice dinner in the restaurant, ample parking, comfortable beds and a clean bathroom. However...
My husband and I were instructed upon checking in that a complimentary grab-and-go breakfast could be found in the lobby, which was a wonderful perk as we were checking out in the early hours of the morning. As we were leaving, we dropped our keys at the front desk and grabbed a sandwich and juice from the kiosk that we were shown and sat down to eat in the lobby..
As my husband collected the sandwich wrappers and empty juice bottles to find a trash receptacle, the woman at the front desk began shouting (not exaggerating here - actually shouting) "DID YOU EAT ONE OF THOSE? THOSE NEED TO BE ORDERED AND PAID FOR! YOU CAN'T JUST TAKE, THEY MUST BE ORDERED!". I interjected that we were shown the snack station by staff at check in and told to help ourselves before leaving. She demanded our room number, checked a list, slammed a drawer, shouted "FINE!" and went back to checking in the bewildered customers who were at the desk. No explanation, no apologies. Just left us to walk out awkwardly and feeling bad about the whole ordeal.
I guess public humiliation at 2AM over a sandwich doesn't sit well with me. I'd give it a miss, purely based on the poor treatment we received in the last five minutes of our stay.
