Great host and friendly staff made for a most enjoyable stay. Nothing was too much trouble. Food was excellent. Had a charm all of its own.

Our travel plans changed, making us late to check in, after 10pm at night. However, the staff at Hotel Weiler made the check in process extremely easy. The hotel is located in the perfect location, a nearby early opening bakery providing the perfect solution for jet lag. This castle is a must experience. The room was amazing and the staff were friendly and helpful.

There are only positive things we cd think of to say about the little gem of a hotel. Location is only a short walk from train and right in the centre of gorgeous Bacharach. Literally over the road from the scenic Rhine 100 metres away to sit on the benches and watch the barges go by. A train track in between but noise didn’t bother us at all. My friend and I throughly enjoyed our stay at this motel. The family owned motel was well looked after, breakfast was great and the location is fantastic. We would highly recommend the hotel and the family running it are lovely. The owner accommodated us with any request we had, including storage of our hired push bikes. Breakfast was great. Wanting to end a long holiday with a couple of comfortable nights winding down we chose to spend two nights at Burg Schwarzenstein. Less than an hour from Frankfurt airport overlooking the Rhine valley it was perfectly placed for this. Whilst there is not much to do on site, the surrounding restaurants, villages and forests make this a great location whether travelling as a couple or family. Beautifully positioned right on the Rhine River and close to Koblenz. Great staff and the room was large, bright and clean. Couldn't fault.

Reception and check-in was fast. Bike storage in the basement a bonus. Did not have the buffet dinner but breakfast was really good. Just a continental but everything was fresh, good coffee machines, fantastic fruit salad and made a croissant for later on our bike ride. Room was clean and we had a newly renovated bathroom. Didn’t need to use the fan but had window open on 3rd floor. Not far from old town and cafes etc. value for money. Recommend.
