I wish they had more counter space in the kitchen, a cup in the bathroom to rinse your mouth, paper towels, softer toilet paper, face cloths, better spatula, it was shedding plastic, dogs nearby were barking every night for long periods of time. We were told to put the vent stove on every time we cooked to not set the fire alarm but other people in the hotel were forgetting so we had 3 alarms during our stay that occurred early morning. The staff was very nice and polite and very helpful.

The food was not great, drinks were pretty bad. Not many positives the staff seemed to be annoyed with all the tourist. The casino was terrible and the staff inside were very rude. All in all probably better places to stay in Arubaz

The renovations to the resort were great. Everything seemed much brighter than the last 2 times we stayed there. My wife and I always had a good meal at the buffet (breakfast, lunch and dinner). As for the a la carte restaurants, the Steakhouse was great, but the food at the Italian (Milano) needs improvement. I had the fettuccine alfredo, which was a little watery, and my wife had the lasagna, which needed some sauce and cheese to go along with the meat in the inner layers. Those are the only a la carte restaurants restaurants that we ate at. The only negative amenity was the palapa system on the beach. Even though we were used to it from the last times we were there, having to get there very early in the morning to reserve one (I went at 6AM and even then only got a third row one at best before going back to bed and having breakfast), is a little inconvenient when you are supposed to be relaxing on vacation. We also saw many people who were very surprised, and disappointed, when they came down to the beach by 10AM to find nothing available. What doesn't help is when people come down early to reserve one, then don't show up again until after 11 or so.

Excellent staff, great food and amenities, and beautiful rooms with amazing views of the ocean.
