Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Brzac?
The best area to stay in Brzac is along the coastline, particularly near the main beach and the small marina.

This area is the heart of Brzac, offering direct access to the sea and the village's primary amenities. You'll find a selection of apartments and villas spread along the coastal road, providing beautiful views of the Adriatic. The main beach, a lovely pebble stretch, is easily accessible, and there are a few local eateries dotted along the waterfront.

Families often find this coastal strip ideal because of its proximity to the beach. Children can enjoy swimming and playing without a long journey, and many accommodations offer self-catering options, making meal times convenient. The calm waters are also superb for younger swimmers.

For couples seeking a quiet retreat, staying slightly further along the coast from the main village centre can offer more secluded villas. These often come with private terraces or pools, superb for relaxing with panoramic sea views.
When is the best time to go to Brzac?
The best time to visit Brzac is during the shoulder seasons, specifically May, early June, September, and early October. These months offer pleasant weather, fewer crowds, and generally better value compared to the peak summer months.

During May and early June, the weather is comfortably warm, ideal for exploring the island's natural beauty, hiking, or cycling without the intense heat of mid-summer. The sea is also starting to warm up, making it suitable for swimming and water activities. You'll find most restaurants and attractions open, but without the bustling crowds.

September and early October offer a similar experience, with the added benefit of the sea still being very warm from the summer. The grape harvest often happens in early autumn, which can be an interesting experience for those who appreciate local culture and wine. The weather remains mild, great for enjoying outdoor pursuits and the island's coastal paths.

For those looking for a lively beach holiday with guaranteed hot weather and don't mind larger crowds, July and August are popular choices.
