  • Summary:

    Big Time Hill is located in Paradise Pointe, a gated mountain retreat at the tri-state corner of AL/TN/GA. Hike the trail to stand in three states at once! Enjoy access to the huge indoor pool house with a communal hot tub, two indoor slides, an outdoor deck, seating, and more. All 19 rentals share these amenities. Plus, enjoy two small basketball courts, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and more for endless fun!



    The Space:

    Escape to this charming cabin, designed for a maximum of 8 guests. Inside, you’ll find a comfortable and inviting space, complete with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The kitchen includes basic cooking utensils, and while there’s no dishwasher, we recommend bringing paper products for convenience. We provide a starter kit with paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, and hand soap to get you started. Linens and towels are supplied, and a washer and dryer are available if you need extras.



    You'll find three cozy king beds spread across three beautifully appointed bedrooms, perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Traveling with a larger group? We also offer a comfy air mattress that can sleep two additional guests.



    Outside, enjoy the charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal) and take in the peaceful surroundings. Whether you’re unwinding with family or friends, this cabin offers the perfect blend of comfort and nature.

The property and view is stunning, we will be coming back for that alone. The cabin is so beautiful, the only complaint was the abundance of lady bugs and I’m very understanding of that as this is a cabin in the nature. If the lady bugs weren’t on/in the bed it wouldn’t have bothered me much.

Spring Break

We wanted a quick getaway for peace and quiet and this cabin checked all the boxes! It was quiet, peaceful and close enough to Chattanooga for dining and we went to Ruby Falls and hiked to the tri state point! Would definitely stay here again.

We had an opportunity to see bald eagles, paddle board to nicker Jack cave, watch the bats emerge , the scenery was incredible, enjoyed indoor pool second to none, and topped it off with relaxing soak in the hot tub, and established a incredible friendship with the community chicken, God is good

Amazing cozy getaway

Stayed here for a weekend with the wife and dog while in a road trip and were blown away by everything. It was even beter than pictured online and exactly what we needed. Everything was clean and well set up and the staff was amazing throughout the whole stay. Best cabin i have ever stayed in and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Family Vacation

The location and property were exactly as advertised. Paradise Pointe Resort is close to Chattanooga and the many activities offered there. The resort is set up for privacy and spending time with the family. The cabin was clean, well organized, and overall perfect for our needs. I highly recommend this location and property.

The VIEWS!

It’s worth the 30 minute drive to Chattanooga! The drive is beautiful, the views from the cabin are breath taking and the pool house was clean and perfect for the kids to enjoy! We have no complaints! Thanks for a great stay!

Nooga 24!

We had an awesome vacation! The cabin was great! We had plenty of room and fun stuff to do. The view was beautiful looking over the mountains, railroad, river and lock! The pool was fantastic- loved the nice bathroom/shower in the pool pavilion! We will definitely come back!!

Awesome view

My wife and I had an amazing time. We used hot tub firepit basketball court and grill almost every night. So much to do. Will definitely be back. Already have reservations for August.

Mother-Daughter Getaway

My daughter and I stayed at the Big Time Hill cabin for a brief getaway in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. This cabin had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and was VERY CLEAN! It has an amazing porch with rocking chairs to enjoy the sunrise and sunsets each day. We went to Chattanooga for a Yoga session and spent time strolling the streets of this lovely college town.

Great little retreat

My family and I stayed here for two nights on our way to Florida. The view is fantastic. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. My teens fished in the pond and loved walking around the petting zoo animals and barn. It was pretty quiet during our stay so we only saw one other house of guests. We came fully prepared for the accommodations. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Amazing views

This is our second time at Paradise Pointe, and expect to visit again. The views are absolutely lovely, cabin is cozy and comfortably set up and the heated indoor pool is an absolute hit with the children. Sylvia is really good about responding quickly to any inquiries. Thank you for giving us another opportunity to make some lovely memories.

Best vacation views ever.

From the hot tub, fire pit and beautiful views…..everything was absolutely beautiful. The second night we were there our oven wasn’t working. We contacted the person in charge, not only did they respond quickly, they also replaced the entire appliance with a new one. They couldn’t have been any sweeter about everything. Absolutely amazing place. Run by equally amazing people.

Nice getaway

Property is nice, management and owners addressed any issues right away. Cabin was very nice and clean, beds were comfy. Getting up to the property could prove difficult in some vehicles, but we managed in a minivan. Would definitely recommend staying here, but there isn’t much to do in the area so be prepared for that, especially if traveling with older kids like we were.!

Beautiful

This was our first time staying at a VRBO. Overall we had an amazing time during our stay. With 8 of us it was much nicer than stepping all over each other in a hotel room. We were actually able to relax. The only thing was the pool house was cold like 60 degrees and the water was so cold my children were shivering in the water. Hopefully they are able to get all the kinks worked out.

Great location

This was the perfect place for a spring break family trip to Chattanooga. We have 3 adults and 2 kids (7 and 2). My kids loved the pool (it was a little too cold for us adults) and seeing the chicken, goats and horses every day. The cabin has all the basics you needs and we did a quick grocery pick up at Walmart in Kimball and had most meals at cabin using charcoal grill. For us, we just scheduled all excursions in Chattanooga right after breakfast, packed a lunch and then headed back mid-afternoon for naps, swimming and sunset views. Sylvia was very responsive. Highly recommend!!!

Overall Good - but you should know!!

I’ll start by saying that our stay overall was good, but there are some things I feel aren’t quite as described. Do not go because of the pool area - this was 1 of our main reasons for staying here. The water was so cold that my children wouldn’t swim. I asked the property manager if they could see about the pool temp. I got an emailed response that the temp is set to 85… It wasn’t close (draw your own conclusions - that was my only request to the property manager, btw). Our second reason for staying here was the view. Half of the viewing area from the porch is beautiful and the other half is the back of another cabin and the pictures don’t show one of these. We really wanted to like this place, but the product didn’t exactly match the description- leaving us disappointed.
