My stay at Hotel NH Brussels EU Berlaymont was truly lovely. On my arrival, I was kindly upgraded, and on Christmas Day I was surprised with thoughtful gifts in my room, which was such a nice touch. The room was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. Leaving tomorrow feels hard after such a wonderful time in both the city and the hotel. I would happily stay here again.

Covenant in the EU quarter

Easy to get to by public transportation. Particularly good option when the EU/EC is not is session. Lots of neighborhood restaurants and bars. Hotel is in good condition, good multilingual staff and great breakfast.

Best place to be - Berlaymont

Brussels Berlaymont is the best hotel for short or long stay. The environment is safe and the hotel is just behind the European commission. The Subway/metro is just 3 minutes away. Outside of the building, there is a bus (12) that goes directly to the airport.

My boyfriend and i have been travelling around europe and this is undoubtedly the beat hotel we've stayed in so far. The staff was very friendly and the room was stunning. Only thing is that its not super close to central brussels but that gave us an excuse to rent the electric scooters (you also can definitely walk too, it just takes a little longer)

This is 2 mins away from the European Commission building so is ideal quite accessible to other parts of the city. A 5 minute walk to the nearest metro which is 20 minutes from the main Brussels midi station. Staff were helpful and polite, breakfast was a good mix of hot and cold, continental and cooked. Plenty of fruit, tea, coffee and juices to choose from. Convenience to other parts of the city the area of the hotel is quiet at night but still has some nice restaurants nearby and pubs to watch sports that don’t disturb the calmness of the area. Overall a very pleasant and comfortable stay in the European area. I would be happy to recommend and choose this hotel again.

Location was great, 5 min to Schuman Metro/Train station or express bus to the airport. Rooms were a lacking in lighting, even with the shades fully open the desk area was a bit dark so would be nicer with more lighting. Little cafe at the front had all you need for a quick breakfast.

Second visit to this hotel, previous room at the front of the building with views overlooking the various landmarks of Brussels, a quiet room with a nice view. This time I stayed in the garden area which was at the rear of the hotel, also quiet and overlooking the gardens with calming sounds of birds etc. both nice options. Used the gym and enjoyed excellent breakfast options, fresh fruit, pastries, hot cooked options and a new breakfast menu on each table to select from, a nice improvement which included a Belgian waffle. Breakfast again was excellent. The location is ideal for short stays with a metro nearby to visit other parts of Brussels and easy 8 stops from midi station. This hotel area is quiet and very convenient for working at the EU HQ. It is easy enough to get to the other areas if needed by transport. A nice option for short stays in Brussels. Thanks again to the team

Dated but comfortable

Excellent location just behind the European Commission, near all public transport. The hotel has seen its best days, it is comfortable but very dates. There was some unexplainable humming sound in my room which kept waking me up. Strangers’ hair found in the bathroom. The staff, however, couldn’t be more friendly. The breakfast is worth it.
