Amazing to stay for when you have to be at the Arena. On walking distance from arena. Bit further to the metro. Due to construction limited Sidewalks availble. Amazing hotel with great service

A good hotel with nice employees. The standard of the cleaning was very good and the morning breakfast was better than first expected. The area was very boring but safe and close to ING arena. Easy to go to the city centre with the metro (walking distance from the hotel). A good experience.

Football visit

Stayed there to go to the Stade Roi Baudouin which is 20 minutes' walk away, as is the nearest Metro station. Close to the Expo and some museums. On the Flanders side of the border so signage in the area is generally in Flemish. Bus stop outside to get into town or direct to the airport. Limited menu but handy to be able to have food in mid-afternoon. Room is fine and had the unexpected bonus of a small balcony.

The best thing about this hotel was the staff: Everyone I interacted with - from reception to the staff at breakfast - was really friendly and went out of their way to help. Service with a smile. Lots of choice at breakfast and the warm food was warm, which isn’t always the case for buffets! The rooms themselves are basic and tired - no coffee facilities, no iron, just one soap for hair/body. Shower itself was lovely and hot with great pressure. Overall, hugely convenient if you are visiting the ING Arena, but don’t expect luxury once you arrive in your room.

We booked the hotel as it was walking distance to the football stadium, which was the reason why we booked it. The location was ideal. The room was ok but the smell in the bathroom was terrible. Decided not to use the shower whilst we were there. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were nice and soft . You could hear other guests through the walls, so needs sound proofing. Would stay again but only if we were going to the stadium,but aware what to expect. Did come across a couple of crawling insects similar to silverfish crawling in the main bedroom and bathroom but they soon disappeared Biggest positive were the staff were very nice

Fantastic stay. Really welcoming and helpful team working there and all fluent in English (my only language). Bar with 'snacks' available 24 hours was great, especially as the snacks where more like meals including Chicken Curry (delicious) and lasagne etc. The drain in my shower was very slow and did smell slightly if left for a while with the window closed and fan off, otherwise would have been full 5 stars. Everything else clean and well looked after. Would definitely use Ibis again.

Reasonable choice

It’s not in front of the public transport. However feasible by Metro and Bus stations. The breakfast was helpful there was not any shops around it.

Late Night Food Is A Plus!

The bar / restaurant is open late, after midnight, and offers food as well as drinks. The late-night food is limited to pre-made pizzas and pasta dishes which are heated up, but still, it's great to be able to get something to eat after a long evening out at the expo, especially since there is not much else in the immediate area.

Xmas Treat to self

Disappointed that there were No tea making facilities in the room unlike all the other Ibis hotels i have visited in the last 10 years. Not having a car meant a 20 minute walk each way to the shopping area to buy eats but on the plus side the room was very comfortable although the wooden panel floor was very cold and particularly noisy from the person upstairs who seemed to be moving furniture around for no reason. The reception staff were lovely and appreciated how cold it was outside and one evening provided me with a lovely hot cup of tea which was very much appreciated. Not so appreciative one late evening was someone trying to enter My room with their door card and actually had the cheek to knock on My door.
You dont have to drive far to get fuel...
