A beautiful location and room
This property is in a beautiful country setting and the room is comfortable, well furnished and clean. The wifi is excellent...and needed, due to no cell service by our provider. The grounds are so pretty and nicely maintained. We would definitely stay here again if back in the area.

Perfect Getaway
Beautiful, quiet, private country setting. The hosts were very gracious and quickly responded to questions about the property. The loft was very clean, cozy and offered all the amenities as described. Getting pizza from Hockinson Market is a must! We would definitely recommend the carriage house to friends and family.

Great experience
The living space is cozy and the property is beautiful. Enjoyed exploring the area. Perfect for a break from the city or a romantic getaway. Owners were communicative and available. Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely come back :)

So cute and cozy - pictures don't do it justice!
Private and quiet location, very serene, and yet close to the bigger cities if you want to jump over to Portland or Vancouver. We had a pizza from Hockinson Market - highly recommend - it was delicious, and very close. The minute you go onto the property you felt like you were stepping into your own private home away from home. Plenty of space for a couple and spotless - very well maintained. As others have mentioned, the bathroom was spacious, with plenty of hot water available as well as plenty of towels and toiletries. We just felt so comfortable and welcomed! Great communication from the owners and would love to stay again!

So Lovely!
Beautiful setting. We wanted a quiet, private retreat in a natural setting and this is exactly what we got. These owners feel like friends we never got to meet. They were so attentive and considerate. Highest recommendation. Stay here and be in good hands. Thank you so much!

Rural relaxation at Carriage House
Quiet, rural beauty! The long private drive is fully paved, leading to an enchanting farm. The Carriage House above the garage was immaculate, spacious and had everything we could need. We especially appreciated the new bath towels and full-length bathroom counter. The kitchenette is tiny but amazingly well stocked. We ate out, but enjoyed the thoughtful microwave popcorn and selection of coffees and teas for the Keurig. Our hosts were excellent communicators and so kind. We highly recommend the Carriage House!

Carriage House March 2023 Review
I really liked how quiet it is here. I'm a light sleeper and I overslept every morning because there were no sounds to wake me up. I brought my bike and kayak and the owner allowed me to store the bike in the garage underneath the rental. Additionally, I was able to use this space to hang my wet kayak gear for drying. The heating and cooling in the unit is very easy to control. There was plenty of extra space in a full size fridge in the garage for storing the week's worth of extra food I brought with me.

Charming spot out in the country
My mom and I had a wonderful time staying at this property for a few days in August, 2022. We wanted to spend our days at Battleground Lake State Park with other relatives, but were looking for a more cushy experience than camping. So we slept at this carriage house, and drove over to the lake each day. It was just an adorable and perfect place for our needs. The property is lovely - trees and flowers and a pond, feels private and peaceful. The apartment itself was darling - cute little decorations, clean, tall vaulted ceilings, spacious, airy, lots of light - it just felt wonderful in there. It was well-stocked with toiletries, towels, etc. Not a full kitchen, but a little kitchenette area; that was fine with us. We had a slight mix-up about the reservation, but our hosts (A&R) were lovely and friendly and helpful in every way, once we figured it out together. Would highly recommend!

I love this place, cozy and quiet. At least one night we get a pizza from Hockinson Market stay in, and relax. If we were not moving just a few minuets down the road we would stay there again. We will defiantly suggest it to company that comes to visit.

Wonderful Getaway
What a wonderful place for a getaway. We were in Washington for our grandson's high school graduation. Hockinson Carriage House is a warm, inviting place to stay. It was very clean and well taken care of. We had everything we needed and were very pleased with our stay.

Peaceful stay
Wonderful property with a nice pond and are to walk around and breathe. I needed a place to gather my thoughts and have some time alone, this was just perfect for that. There’s so many birds and animals around the property which I truly enjoyed seeing. I’ll miss driving by the horses in the neighbors property each day. The owners were excellent communicators and so very kind and friendly. Very thankful for this stay.

Enchanting! Lovely escape, and a 'real' UFO next to the property! Radwyn is a wonderful host!
We were pleasantly welcomed by the host (Radwyn). The accommodation were very clean. The setting is beautiful, with orchards, berries, chickens and a pond we could use. The smell of fresh apples was reminiscent of my wife's childhood, when they would get cider from a nearby orchard. We took advantage of the fresh eggs, and were thrilled to see a 'real' UFO in the neighbors yard. Quiet, clean, and cozy!!! Would recommend this VRBO to anyone who is looking for a nice getaway in the Northwest.

Great place. Reminded me of weekends I used spend at my grandparents’ property in the country when I was a child. There was lots to do, everything was beautiful, and the hosts were so generous and kind.

They never missed a thing. They had everything to make our stay comfortable.

Charming Property
This was my first time using a VRBO and it was fantastic! Everything was there that you needed; loved the décor and how spacious it was. It was extremely clean and comfortable and a nice quite place to relax, yet very convenient to Vancouver and parks for hiking. Having fresh eggs available every morning was a treat also. I appreciated the way the home owners went above and beyond with their kindness toward us truly making this a wonderful stay. I will definitely come back, maybe next time when the blueberries are in season. Thanks again Artie!

Wonderful Retreat
We stayed for 2 nights in August. When we arrived we were greeted by Artie and treated to a short tour of the property. This place is amazing. The bathroom is huge and the entertainment area is so comfy. Internet and AC were excellent all weekend. We had fresh eggs every morning and we were lucky enough to enjoy end of the season blueberries. Kitchenette is well stocked and the linens are luxe. Artie is a wonderful host. He offered many suggestions for dining and fun things to do in the area. This getaway was exactly what we needed, thank you!

Peaceful property with friendly hosts
This is the first time I’ve ever returned to a rental property. Artie & Radwyn are such nice people & they’ve created a lovely property to enjoy. My ten year old adores the chicken house - super nice that they are happy to let her wonder & tend to the chickens. And fresh eggs ofcourse are a treat.

This beautiful property was a peaceful nature filled escape from the hustle and bustle of this world. Enjoyed all aspects of this place. The chickens, the deer, the geese, the blueberry bushes exploding with fruit right outside our doors, and quiet...all of it was a gift!

Coming from a city setting, it's really great to be able to stay at a place that feels like you are out in sprawling nature. It's almost like you are on a mini-farm/orchard that's on a lake! The hosts are very friendly and helpful.

Very welcoming and accommodating hosts. This is a spacious and charming carriage room in a charming setting, with the chickens' "condo" and honey bee hives adjacent and a pond nearby on the wooden lot. The mini-split heat pump made the room very comfortable despite the hot weather. Town of Battle Ground, six miles away, is great for eating options. Pretty convenient to Vancouver, WA and Portland.

This is the place for us.
The ‘Carriage House’ is the place to stay if you enjoy tranquility. After spending time in the city of Vancouver, it was a delight to return to the peaceful surroundings of our vacation rental. I’ve never objected to being among huge trees, a large pond with water fowl, green grassy fields, and flowering plants. Thanks, Art and Radwyn, for allowing the Carriage House to be available as a rental on VRBO.

My girlfriend and I had a amazing time at the Hockinson property I think everybody should stay there once for at least a few days it's a beautiful piece of property to take a walk on and the property owners are very kind and helpful and make sure that you have everything that you need to be comfortable.

This place was just what we were looking for! It was clean, cozy, homey, and close to our points of interest. The owners were very communicative, and check in/out was a breeze. We really appreciated that this rental allowed for just a one night stay; other rentals require guests to stay a minimum of two nights. If this place is not available next time we're in time, we'll be very diappointed!

Lovely getaway
We loved our stay in the carriage house. It was quaint and welcoming. I loved exploring the property. We kayaked most mornings on the pond and picked berries and visited with the chickens. Artie and Radwyn were excellent hosts! we had so much fun staying there and exploring the surrounding towns.

Incredibly beautiful setting surrounded by nature
As you drive down the narrow lane to this gorgeous property, you wonder "how'd I get this lucky?" Truly one of the most beautiful settings we've had the good fortune to enjoy. Bring you bicycles to enjoy the property and surrounding countryside. Or, use one of the available kayaks to enjoy the pond full of bass and geese. The accommodations also feel very comfortable and homey. The bathroom is huge with big soft towels and everything you need. The kitchen, has what you need but remember the fridge is not full size but big enough, bring ice if you enjoy it in your cold drinks, ice selection of coffee for the Keurig and hotplate plus microwave if you want to cook in. Overall 5*****, can't wait to go back for a longer stay.
