We rented the house June 12-17, 2026. The location was easy to get to, it was quiet, and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, we encountered a number of issues which reduced our review and indicated a lack of attention to detail that I would expect in order to give full stars.The owner/manager kindly allowed for an early check-in. However, an hour after the agreed time, the door code was not active. There was confusion but it was resolved quickly.The refrigerator was beeping loudly and displaying a "Power Outage" message. The owner/manager only provided a vague suggestion and "I don't know." We eventually researched and found the solution on our own.The kitchen sink drain was clogged and drained so slowly that it backed up frequently.There was an air gap problem in the drains such that running water down one drain pushed sewer gas up another drain, it was a very bad smell.The bathtubs were very slippery, they need some kind of nonslip decals or something.There were loose boards on entry deck that were sticking up - multiple people stumbled on them.Cobwebs were very noticeable throughout.There were burnt out lights in the downstairs closet and upstairs shower.The grill was very dirty.There was men's underwear (not ours!) on the deck. There were only used sponges in the kitchen to use for washing up. People are weird. I don't want to use a sponge that someone else used for ... what?
