The Merry Mermaid Cottage is the perfect place for a quick getaway. Its location is great for walking downtown to see the beautiful river view. It is a cozy and comfortable place to kick back and relax. Barbara was good to check in with us to make sure everything was good.

A great place for our short get-away

This nice home in a quiet neighborhood was just what we needed for our get-away less than an hour from home. From Mermaid Cottage we explored Cumberland Island and St. Mary's and had a comfortable place to return to each evening.

I really liked my stay at The Mermaid Cottage. Its well decorated. And is in close proximity to a few fun places for dinner, and shopping. St Marys was a fun quite town.

Very nice small cottage to get away for a long weekend in a truly ideal setting. St Mary's is a place where time stopped and the natural beauty is amazing

The sweetest lil get away spot

This was one of nicest verb's to stay at. The place was bigger than expected and was super comfortable. The hospitality was amazing, and we look forward to staying there again!

Mermaid paradise!

Super cute house! Loved the location, was able to take my dogs on a great walk and had room in the backyard for the them to relax. Contact with host was quick and prompt if needed. Had everything you may have needed for my fur babies which I appreciated so much.

Great cottage close to Riverfront

The cottage was so cute and very clean. We were pleasantly surprised to see how close we were to the riverfront. We have family that just moved to St Mary’s. This will be our go to place to stay when visiting.

Loved the Merry Mermaid Cottage!

My wife and I stayed here for about a week while meeting with the builder for our new home in St Marys. It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and the location is convenient to everything in the town. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone who desires a relaxing location in the heart of St Marys!

Trip to St Marys

The stay at the Merry Mermaid was very nice and comfortable. Our pups enjoyed playing in the fenced backyard. We enjoyed exploring the St Marys and Kingsland area and look forward to a future visit. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your cottage, it is a great place.
