Mother's Day getaway

We truly enjoyed our visit to the Golden Isles and staying at this cute, welcoming air b&b. This is exactly what our family needed for a relaxing and rejuvenating weekend away. Everything was stocked for convenience, such as paper products, toiletries, snacks, coffee, etc. There were plenty of beach towels and linen. Everything was clean and very well decorated. I enjoyed the music played on Mother's Day and loved that it is also a home that's lived in and well appreciated. The listing does not do justice, it's much more beautiful in person! Truly a hidden gem, Thank you for sharing your home with us and being a wonderful host!

Perfect Getaway

This was a perfect place to escape everyday life of work and kids. We spent the majority of our time here enjoying the pool and hot tub, watching the beautiful trees and wildlife, and relaxing in the clean comfortable space Abigail has created. We will definitely return.

Awesome

This was an ideal place to meet up with our friend who lives in the area. We spent our time reminiscing around the hot tub while enjoying the outdoors. Nice and peaceful place. We were allowed to check in a little early. If ever in the area again we will most definitely stay here.

Drive 9 hours and according to VRBO customer service the check in information was never updated by host. It took hours after check in for her to call back. She did apologize that we could not view information. I have stayed her before and fell in love with location.

Great weekens

It’s the small things that stood out. Nice dechloronating shampoo and conditioner, lotions, detergent for the washer and dryer. The owners were accommodating. The property was quiet and beautiful! Far better than a hotel stay!

Peaceful place

This place is such a sweet place. It is the whole bottom level of the house. The pool and hot tub were AMAZING! The owners do live above you, you can hear them, but at night it was quiet and perfect! The bed is so comfortable and the yard is so peaceful. We will for sure be going back. The owners are pretty awesome too, if you have any trouble, give them a chance and reach out. Also, try the Wee Pub in Brunswick! The owners of here also own that and the food was so yummy!

Relaxing getaway close to attractions

A nice place to get away from life for the weekend. My husband and I spent our first anniversary here. The home is located in a peaceful neighborhood close to Brunswick, Jekyll, and St. Simon's Island. We were a little surprised to find that the rental is an apartment in the garage. While our hosts were respectful, be aware that you can hear them walking overhead. Not sure what kind of animal got the zoomies at midnight during our stay but that was something lol! We still enjoyed our stay. Theres lots of amenities at the house, too. Hosts were kind and attentive as well.

Very noisy! Terrible stay!

Ok, before posting this review, i gave the property owner time to refund part of the cost. Wish I didn’t stop my husband from writing his thoughts in the guest book! Host messaged us they were making adjustments to chemicals in the pool which took use away from us during our stay. We woke up to the hot tub only 1/2 full and unusable. The pool towels were so warn out they had ripps in them. There was laundry left in both the washer and dryer! I would also recommend checking any alarms set on the stove/oven so it doesn’t wake you up in the morning luke it did us.... very early,,, no sleeping in ! The fan in the main living area makes a very loud sound when in use so turn up the tv,,,, ooooo thats if they're not using the internet upstairs... then just enjoy watching the tv try to stream... good luck.. will not be back, and just awful that there wasn't any response when notified of this!

Had a wonderful stay and beautiful home. Everything I needed was in the home, everything was clean. Everything you need for a beach outing, or cooking at home was available. I would stay here again anytime. Very thankful for the opportunity to stay here.
