Nice quiet location with pub 100 metres away serving excellent food. Breakfast in the morning is very filling especially with Mirians home made muffins

Not what I expected.
We chose this hotel because of the rating and the proximity to Limerick. It is about 30 minutes outside of Limerick which surprised us. Check in time is not until 6:00 ending at 9:00. The room was a typical B&B without air conditioning and very soft old beds. Our room faced the main street which was noisy and bright lights shining through the window from across the street. We had to leave for the airport by 7:00 the next morning and breakfast didn't start until 8:00 which would be too late for me even if we didn't have to travel. They did make us a to go box which contained an apple, granola bar and warm juice box. We couldn't park in their lot because it was locked until 8:00 and we wouldn't be able to get out in time. We had to find a space on the busy street. I wouldn't stay here again based on location and check in time.

Dear Debra Firstly we are not a hotel but a family run B&B which can be clearly seen by our description on hotels.com and also on the confirmation email sent to you prior to your arrival-which you responded to when you requested a twin room. Our Confirmation email clearly states we are B&B, that our check in time is from 6-9pm and that breakfast is from 8-10pm. The reason you didn't have time to stay for breakfast or park in our family courtyard is because you decided to leave 6 hours before your flight in Dublin departed. Had you scored me on been a B&B desription you had reserved- I think this would of been fairer and not expected a hotel room and experiences on a B&B rate. Thank you Miriam & Family

Great place with a great host and food.
Nice place with a great host. I would recommend it to anyone. I didn't notice an AC unit, so in the summer it might be hot, or possibly they use room units that were not up for the warm season yet.

Hi Jeffery Thank you for your Lovely review. In Ireland we have no AC, we have a central heating system and it been a colder time of the year this was on. there was a thermostat in the room that you could of used to cool the room. Fond Farwells Miriam

VERY NICE
Miriam was a wonderful host and cook. She provided me with tips of things to do in the area. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Also, I talked to a resident and told them I was staying there and they said I would have a wonderful stay, which I did. I give this hotel (BNB) a 5 star.

Cozy, relaxing
Family owned, small town B and B. This is a great place to take it easy. I recommend for that kind of trip, not for someone looking for nightlife. Great small local pub within walking distance for a drink and a laugh to get to know locals

Beautifully updated ensuite rooms, wonderful reception/common room with a roaring coal/wood fireplace. Miriam is the landlady, assisted by Louise, and the two made us feel very welcome. They were happy to provide information about dining or shopping in the picturesque village of Bruff. The breakfast in the morning was more than sufficient, prepared to order, with accompaniments. An excellent place for tourists, couples, and motorcyclists (off-street parking!).

Loved this B and B. Generous room and en suite, even had a sofa. The Host was very friendly. The home made goodies for breakfast were delicious. I stayed at a few b and Bs during my trip around Ireland and this one was equal best.

Love the stay very helpful and loved the room.
Felt pampered in a very comfortable way. Big poster bed, nice decor, pleasant people, friendly people in town. Day of touring in historic sites then retreat to a nice place to relax in.

Very disappointing
Our room was very small, nowhere to put second suitcase or anything else. There was a bad smell in the corridor outside the room which seemed to seep in under the door. The beds were horribly hard and uncomfortable, and there was a lot of noise and light coming in from the Main Street, so we got very little sleep. There was no air conditioning, and the windows wouldn't open so it was very stuffy and the drapes over the bed were very dusty. No where to park, except on the street, and no lift and a lot of stairs, and no offer to help get cases to our room. No evening meal served, and very little choice of other places to go. We found the owner to be abrupt, unfriendly and unwelcoming, unlike everyone else we have met in Ireland. Definitely the low point of our trip.

Lovely BnB
Lovely BnB with lot of character. The owner has plenty of ideas of what to do in both the region and the rest of Ireland. The breakfast is really good.

Our least favorite ....
I was a bit disappointed; the reviews left me expecting much better. Of the 5 B&B's we stayed in, this was our least favorite. The owner was a very busy mother of 4 who always seemed in a hurry to get us moving. She was also very vocal about wanting a cash payment (the credit card took 5 days to process which was too long for her). The beds were so hard that I ended up sleeping in a chair. The best thing about this was the bar down the block that had GREAT food and a very friendly bartender!

Bon séjour.superbe petit déjeuner maison avec un bon accueil. La chambre était joliment décorée par contre la literie est à revoir. Quelques restaurants sont possibles sur place. J ai essayé un pub irlandais qui était très bon.
